Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A Good Day

Started my walk this morning walking up and down the main road
and up and down a few of the side streets.

Then walked around both of the cemeteries.
Rebecca was walking around there too.
Continued through town again over to the ball park
and walked around there too

The temperature was 39 degrees and sunny.

Dame's Rocket can now be seen all over.

Up and down a couple more side streets on my way back to the pond.

Spotted a For Sale sign in town.

This is the same house where the garage has been being built for the last year or so.

Was surprised to see the For Sale sign because they have done
a lot of work both inside and outside.
They have probably over built for this town because I can't imagine
they will get their asking price of $650,000
It is beautiful inside and sits on 5 acres of land.
If you want to see the particulars and pictures of the house click

☀️    🥾    🌼    😊

Another load of laundry done today and out on the line to dry.

Then we left for food shopping at Walmart.
Hardly anyone was there and the nice thing was we
didn't see any of the shoppers with the huge blue carts shopping for others.

After lunch I went outside to do a few things.
I bought more bean seeds and planted them outside.
The beans that I started inside and planted outside much too early
all died so thought I'd start over.
I should have known better than to put them outside before the end of May.
Also scattered some pansy seeds in a couple of big pots outside.
After that I stayed out putting more branches on the brush fence.

Supper tonight is Roasted Vegetables with Italian Sausage
which is in the oven now.

Well, that's all I have for today.
Hope you had a wonderful day and
Thanks for coming by.
HappyK😊

Ginny - The Red Baron pizza we had yesterday was 4 cheese.

Ann - No, didn't get any cookies at Subway but I was tempted!!

GrannyM -  I changed themes on my blog and maybe the font got a little smaller.  It looked the same to me but I did make it bigger.
Is it better now? Did you know that you can make the writing on your computer larger if you hold the command key down and then hit the plus key? At least it works that way on an Apple.

Any others find the FONT too small?

Your first two photographs are beautiful.
Roasted Vegetables with Italian Sausage for supper sounds good.

All the best Jan

PS I think the font on your new look blog is smaller than your previous layout ...

What a beautiful blue sky.
I really enjoyed checking out the inside of that house. I love looking at houses and that one is really lovely inside. You'll have to keep us posted on how long it takes to sell.
I don't have any trouble reading your font.

The Dames Rocket is so pretty!
Nice house, too pricey for me though. :) There's one on our street selling for $750,000. Yikes!
I do ok with your font. I do make mine larger because a few people asked for that.

...they say that Dame's Rocket is invasive, perhaps, but it's a beauty in my eye.

We have several properties here that are overpriced for our area and they sit on the market forever. Sounds like a very nice day. Enjoy your evening!

Font that is larger easier to read. Brenda

Hi Karen! Looks like you had a beautiful day where you are! Wow, that looks like a big house that is for sale. Glad you had a nice day. We have been so busy with moving that I haven't been in blog land much, but it is always nice to check in and see what you are up to! See you again soon!

P.S. I looked at the pictures of that house that is for sale. Wow, it's a beautiful BIG home! Do you know the people who are selling it? I can't imagine anyone needing a 6000+ square foot home unless they had a big family. I hope they sell it! There are lots of homes in this area of Salt Lake City going for 650,000 and more.

It is a really nice house. I wonder how long it will take to sell it? The Dame's rocket are so pretty. I would never have known what they are. We planted some seeds too early, as well!
