Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A dime

Very windy this morning when I walked.
A mix of sun and clouds and a warm 58 degrees.
Sunrise 6:13

First walked up the hill and around the cemetery a couple of times.
Walked over to the fence to see the bulls.
They were all laying down but this one stood up as I got to the fence.

Stopped at the Jeep to pick up a book and then walked to the library and put it down the book drop.

When I walked passed the pond on the road it was so windy that I could feel the water from the fountain blowing my way.

Continued through town and over to the industrial park and walked around there.

Then over to the ball park, around that loop and then back to the Jeep.
Very quiet around town, nothing going on and didn't see anyone.
But I did found a dime.🙂

💨    🌤    🥾    🐄    🙂

Sometimes I eat cereal for breakfast and when I do it is usually Raisin Bran but yesterday at Walmart I chose a different kind, one I hadn't tried before and it was really good!

Got a crock pot of chili going first thing this morning and that took care of supper.

Too windy to go outside again to work.
Tried sitting out on the porch reading but the wind drove me inside.

Did a little work inside and then read.
I started reading Theo of Golden by Allen Levi this afternoon and liked it right away.
It was recommended on a blog but I can't remember whose.

That's all I have for today.
Hope your day was a good one and thanks for stopping by.
HappyK 🙂

Woohoo on finding a dime. I think more and more people don't carry coins in their pockets that might fall out. We had turkey chili last night. Enjoy your dinner!

Chili sounds good today!
Theo of Golden is so good! I read about it on a blog and got it, then made Bob read it. I say made because he's usually a non fiction historical or Christian book reader, but I said he had to read this one. He loved it too and now I passed it to someone at church. Best book I've read in some time.

You hit the jackpot finding a dime.
I've not tried that cereal. I was getting the store brand of special K for a while and that was pretty good. I used to get the one with strawberries.
