Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Wednesday

It was raining this morning when I started walking so had my rain gear on.
The temperature was 54 degrees, so was a little warm wearing my raincoat.
After a while the rain stopped so walked over to the Jeep and dropped my raincoat off.

It drizzled a couple times by not enough to get me wet.

Walked up and down the main road and the side streets.
Went around the ball park a couple of times and then around both of the cemeteries.

The same fisherman was at the pond again.

Pretty quiet around town and just took the one picture.

This morning we went to church for Edd's funeral.  A sad time but happy too as we remembered good times with Edd.  He was quite a character and church just won't be the same without him. Everyone has an Edd Story! 😊
It is such a comfort to know he was Saved many years ago and now he is with Jesus.

Since we were in the area before coming home we made a quick trip through Walmart to get a few things.

This afternoon I finished the diamond art card I started yesterday.
This makes 6 of them and there are 6 more in the set.

Finished reading Murphy's Law by Rhys Bowen, the first in a mystery series.
Liked it and have reserved book number 2 at the library.

That's it for today.
Hope you had a wonderful Wednesday.
Thanks for visiting.
HappyK 😊

Dear Karen, I am so sorry for your loss.
Remembering good times is the best way to cope with a loss, I think.
I am loving your diamond art cards.

That fisherman is pretty reliable!
I think I would have liked Edd, I like characters. He sounds like a blessing to many.

It's hard when we begin losing our friends. It's their gain but we feel the loss.

...loosing "characters" like Edd is happening all too frequently these days. Be well and take care.
