What a difference walking this morning from yesterday.

Today it was 34 degrees and raining.

On the way to church this morning there was some snow mixed in with the rain.

By the time we got out of church it was still cold but the sun was shining.

I've mentioned that this month at church is gospel tract month.

Our Pastor calls a gospel tract the 'Little Preacher" and here are ten reasons he has given us why.

1. The gospel never stumbles over words or forgets important scriptures.

2. It can be given even during extremely brief encounters. 

3. It never gets sidetracked or caught up in an argument, just gives the message of salvation, plainly and clearly.

4. It is never intimidating or fearful.

5. It never is tempted to compromise the message of Christ.

6. It can wait on someone's door until they get home.

7. It can be left in public places and wait until someone's curiosity causes them to pick it up and read it.

8. It never gets tired and gives up.

9. It never gets discouraged or disheartened.

10. It will often speak over and over when read and reread, whereas our verbal witness is usually only heard one time.

Ann - Good guess about why only two of us were at the library stitching but here are the reasons why: 

One was on vacation

One was on retreat

One had a wedding to go to

One was watching a grandchild play baseball
