Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Cold but Sunny

Just like yesterday it was 33 degrees when walking this morning.
No wind this time though.
A mix of sun and clouds.
Sunrise 6:51

On the way to town saw a deer, only one this time, and a ground hog crossing the road.

Walked first over to the library to put a book and DVD down the drop.
Then continued over to the DG Market, turned around went to the ball park and walked around there a couple of times.

Walked all around town up and down the main road and side streets.
Lastly up the hill to the cemetery, around there a couple of times and back to the Jeep.

All the trucks were lined up again at the pond for a short while.
I think they all meet there and then go to work.

Workers were at the house across from the pond finishing up the last bit of siding.

🌤    🐓    🐄    😊

It stayed cold all day and windy but the sun was shining brightly.

First part of the. morning continued with the weekly house work.
Then we went out to do a few errands.

Finished reading Ordinary Grace which is the book club selection for this month on Thursday.
This is one that I liked!!!

Hope your day was a great one.
Thanks for coming by.

Ginny - The 'diamonds' in the cards I'm making are tiny like they usually are.  They just look bigger because the picture is big.

Deb - No, not framing the diamond art cards.  I wanted to make them to give to people.

A cold walk for sure. But seeing the groundhog would have been worth it for me.

Beautiful photos. Those are some die hard fishermen to get up early to fish before work.
Your weather always seems to be very close to ours.

It's a win win when the book selection is one you really like. We went below freezing again and our nutty neighbor has his lawn sprinklers going all day and all night so his grass has frozen puddles all over it! :) Have a great Wednesday!
