Another delightful morning for walking.
Today it was 58 degrees, sunny, and no wind.
Walked around both of the cemeteries first thing.
Then it was over to the ball park to walk around the loop there.
The chickens were all sitting around on two old tires.
Continue walking toward the DG Market but turned in another street before I got there.
Then just walked around town up and down the side streets and the main road.
John out walking his dog Prim.
It's nice to see others out walking too.
😊 🥾 🌤
Day number two at church doing Fingerprints.
Another good turn out and we got 9,352 Romans books ready for shipment.
We do this every third Thursday and Friday of the month.
On the way home we stopped at a DG Market (not the one in town) and bought some inexpensive flower pots.
The two African Violets that Connie from the library gave me at least a year ago and probably longer are huge now and need to be divided.
They have been blooming the whole time!!!
Didn't feel like doing that when we got home though so that job will be for another day.
I sewed my cable knit pillow together after stuffing it with polyfiil and I'm pleased with how it turned out.
Didn't take a picture but will and then post it with the pattern on my MadeByKaren blog, probably tomorrow.
It's been another busy day but a good one.
Hope you had a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
HappyK🙂

sounds like a good day. I can't wait to see your cable knit pillow.
Karen, it sounds like you had a busy but good day. Your first photo is gorgeous.
The orange sky with the trees in front is gorgeous! I guess the chickens were "tired".
this looks and sounds like the perfect day!! appreciate those walks, i would love to be able to do that!! i knit and would love to see the pillow!!
That was a beautiful start to a good day!
It was a nice day for a walk here too.
I bet your cable pillow turned out beautiful.
What a wonderful sky in your first photograph.
All the best Jan
Busy and good. 🙏
...busy days can be good days!
I noticed the flowers in the second picture and at first thought they were planters. Then realized they were sitting on top of headstones. Those are some pretty impressive arrangements.
My mom had African Violets in purple and pink. Unfortunately they died as we forgot about them at her house. Janice
Those are pretty early morning Spring photos you took. Glad you had a productive day at church again. Happy Saturday to you.
The sky in the first photo is stunning.
I wish I had the ability to get African Violets to bloom as abundantly as they bloom when I buy them but they don't. I pay attention to fertilizing, watering, and amount of light they get but still....
Meanwhile I'll stick to Amaryllis :))
What a lovely way to start the day... your walk sounds so peaceful and full of little moments to enjoy. And wow, that’s a lot of Romans books, what a blessing to be part of that! Your African violets sound amazing too 😊
Hope you have a relaxing and happy Saturday! 🌿
