Sunrise 6:25
I had such a nice walk around the farm loop this morning.
It was a cloudy morning, with a temperature of 56 degrees and no wind.
At Farmer Bill's farm the donkeys came over to the fence when I called them.
They are very friendly.
I talked to them a bit, gave them a pet, and wished them a happy day before moving on.
This farm house looks abandoned now.
Don't know the names of the people who lived there but used to see them and wave when I walked by.
I'll have to ask around town and see what's up.
This is the barn across the street.
Farther up the road is another farm.
Used to see milk cows there but today there were just bulls in the pasture.
They all started walking towards me and eventually ended up at the fence.
This picture came out better then the one I took of them by the fence.
Also at the farm a cat meowed at me and I stopped to take a picture.
Along the route George drove passed and stopped to say hi.
Then back at the pond at the end of my walk I saw Rebecca and Leo.
It sure was a nice walk.

Six of us at the library this morning for stitching.
2 knitters
1 embroiderer
and 3 of us crocheting.
I've learned the double crochet and still making my little sample piece.
Maybe some time this week I'll start making something.
Here's the Cable Knit Pillow I made.
If your want to see the pattern it is on my MadeByKaren blog.
I left the library with 2 books and 3 DVD's
Was hoping it would be nice out so I could go outside but it was raining so stayed in side and puttered about.
The pizza dough is rising now so Ken will be making pizza in just a little while.
Seems like Friday because we usually have our pizza then.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Sure hope you had a wonderful day.
HappyK 😊

Beautiful photos, Karen. The donkeys are absolutely adorable. How sweet that they came to see you when you called them. The cows and the cat are so cute.
Aww I like the donkeys.
... and I also like the Cable Knit Pillow.
All the best Jan
How fun to start the day with a conversation with the donkeys. They sure are cute.
Sounds like a very pleasant spring walk.
Your pillow sure turned out pretty. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly you whip up these projects. I am absolutely loving the "hug" blanket.
I love the donkeys! I hope someone moves into that farm house, it would be sad to see it abandoned.
The cable pillow is gorgeous!
Those donkeys are so cute. We have a neighbor that has two little donkeys out in the field with her sheep and I am always trying to spy them out in the field instead of keeping my eyes on the road . . . I need to stop that! Your weather has truly amazed me, you have beautiful days and then snow and ice . . . now it looks like Spring again, hope it stays that way for you :)
crafting with like minded people is so fun. i knit and have a group of girls i knit with, we always have the best time. we also knit together on zoom...we started during covid and enjoyed it so much, we have kept it up!! the pillow is beautiful, i have knit cables, in several scarves. cables look beautiful on the pillow, i really like the color!!
