Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Snow?

A thunderstorm came through last night but was just cloudy when I started walking this morning.
The temperature was 53 degrees and windy.
Half way through my walk it started raining.
The umbrella was in the car, but with the wind it would have been useless.
So I got a bit wet.
Temperature went down too and by the time I was done walking it was 43 degrees.

I had a book to bring to the library so went there first and put it down the drop.
Then continued walking around town.

Walked around the ball park and both of the cemeteries.

The chickens were all out and didn't seem to mind that it was raining.

I haven't seen Bill working around town for about a week now.
Will have to ask around how he is.
Unusual not to see him.

Nice to get home to dry warm house.

🙂    ☁️    🌧    🏡

Sheets got washed and I got a good start on the weekly house cleaning.

Did some reading in the afternoon and knitted a couple rows on the throw blanket.
Didn't finish it like I thought I would, but it will be done today!!

It stopped raining but stayed cloudy and the temperature went down to 35 degrees this afternoon and then it snowed! (didn't amount to anything though)
What a difference from yesterday when it was sunny and 74!!!

For supper tonight we're having steak, fried onions, and cheese subs.

Hope you had a wonderful Monday and thanks for stopping by.

Spring break?

Oh fickle spring, the blistering gaze allows
the blasting winds that rip across the ground
to spook the sheep and aggravate the cows
and cause havoc everywhere, all around

Lovely photos, Karen. We got snow ❄️ here in Montreal over the weekend and it is snowing today as well. I honestly don't mind.

We also had snow today, nothing that stuck though. It was cold and windy all day, but nicer weather is predicted later this month.
I love that old church!
