Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Clouds

49 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds and no wind.
On my way to town I saw 7 deer all a couple blocks from my house.
Sunrise 6:40
Nice being able to walk when it's light out but that will all change tomorrow when I'll be plunged into darkness again.
Well, it won't last that long before it will be light again.

First I walked around both of the cemeteries a couple of times each.

Then went down the road back towards home for 1/2 mile or so before turning around and walking back to town.
Continued up and down the main road in town.

There is a man in who works at the garage in town and he lives just 3 blocks away.
I see him quite often and this always makes me smile. 🙂
I say good morning to him as he comes out of his house.
He gets in his car and drives to work.
He parks the car and I see him again as he walks into work.
I often wonder why he doesn't just walk to work.

Not a very colorful sky this morning but liked the look of the clouds.

Another delightful walk this morning and it was already 54 degrees when I got back to the Jeep. This afternoon it was in the low 70's!!!!

🌤    😊    🌷

Had a nice time knitting at the library with the others.
There were 7 of us there.
Four knitting and 3 embroidering.

Finished up the cleaning of the kitchen this afternoon and then had my usual time of reading and knitting some more.
It was warm enough to sit out on the front porch but it was so windy I didn't last there long!

Ken's making us subs for supper.  This time with ham, turkey, cheese, lettuce, and tomato.

That's been my Saturday.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
HappyK 🙂

Those are very pretty clouds! We took a walk today too but it only made it to 51 degrees here and then it rained all afternoon.
I'm not thrilled about the time change, but it will be nice haver longer days.

Clouds can be so much fun to watch. We have several skylights and one of the benefits is that you can lie in bed or sit on the porch and look straight up at the clouds!!

I'm tempted to voice my disgust about the time change but won't. Nothing I can do about it plus it doesn't feel good to be grumbling about it. I think it's one thing I can really get frustrated with especially since we voted unanimously to stay at daylight savings in 2018 but it needs federal approval. 8 years we've been waiting. Grrrrrr

So windy here, too. but over 70! The clouds ARE so pretty, and each photo of them is different.

It was 60 here yesterday morning 42 today.
I used to drive to work when I worked 1/2 mile away from home. Not that I couldn't have walked and the walk to work wasn't bad but it was the pits going home after work when I was tired.

Hello! So nice to visit with you, my friend. Today was the first day it felt spring-ish outside when I took the dogs out. I am ready for morning walks! Yesterday, I left my phone inside when I took them out, and wouldn't you know it! A family of turkeys walked right in front of me! I hope they return. Have a cozy day, and I would love to see the subs sometimes! Oh, and the pizza too!
