28 degrees this morning, cloudy and windy for walking.
Supposed to start snowing at 7:00 and there was a few flurries and then nothing.
Sunrise 7:48
Started my walk going around the lower cemetery and then it was up the hill to the other cemetery.
The sky had a pink glow for a few minutes.
Piles of manure waiting to be spread out over the fields.
Not a particularly nice smell.
From there went to the ball park and walked that loop a couple of times.
They chickens were all out again.
The woodpecker has been at it again at the ball park.
I walked back to the Jeep and got a DVD and walked to the library and put it down the drop.
On the way there Karen, a friend from town was driving out of the drive thru at the bank as I walked by and she stopped to talk a bit.
Bill (town worker) was just getting to work and he also stopped to talk.
Then it was back to the Jeep and home again.
☁️ 🥾 🐓 😊
The sheets got washed and put back on the bed like every Monday.
This morning I tackled the laundry room, giving it one of those super good cleans which took the whole morning.
I was finished cleaning for the day after that.
Read some more of my book and knitted some too.
A quiet afternoon but I enjoy my afternoons.
No cooking supper today.
Leaving in a little while to go to Brenda's, it's half price pizza day.🍕
Years ago before covid we used to go most every Monday.
Then during covid we starting making our pizza every week.
Now it is a treat when we go to Brenda's once in a while.
It snowed on and off all day but we just ended up with a dusting.
Hope you enjoyed your Monday.
Thanks for popping in for a visit.

I do like the pink in that beautiful sky.
All the best Jan
... pileated woodpeckers had a filed day with that tree.
Wow those woodpeckers sure damaged that tree. I have quite a few woodpeckers in my incense cedar trees but other than little holes, no real damage. Pizza is always good, at home or out. Nice to change things up.
Have you seen the woodpecker that makes those holes? I imagine it's a big one!
What did you have on your pizza?
That woodpecker has been so busy!
Hope you had fun with Brenda!
Dear Karen, your first photo should be framed! Absolutely stunning! Enjoy your pizza!
WOW that woodpecker sure is doing damage to that tree...but then again it may be full of bugs and rotting from the inside out. What a beautiful sky. Hope your pizza was good. Janice
Whenever I drive through an area that has recently spread maure I always say it's farm fresh
That morning sky is gorgeous! Glad you were able to walk outside and that you were able to get the sheets out to dry. The snow didn't amount to anything here either.
The Scripture at the end of your post today is my life verse. :)
Those woodpeckers do some serious woodpecking. :)
Snowed a bit here, too. huge flakes. The sky is gorgeous; you have the best sunrises! That woodpecker must be on steroids...
I can only imagine all the little wild critters that will live in those nice cozy spaces the woodpecker is making.
Beautiful sky capture! The woodpecker did have fun on that tree.
Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
I never knew woodpeckers would leave such damage! I've always enjoyed hearing them and then trying to spot them in the trees. I never really thought about what they were doing up there :) hahaha
I'm always so pleased with how my washer and dryer look after I've given them a good cleaning!
YOUR TOWN SOUNDS LIKE TOWNS I knew at one time, where folks knew each other. Our mail man knew everyone, etc. Now our ail man uses a truck and changes every few weeks. Then again, we are not there but a few months each year, but that does not stop us from wanting the old small town back. LOL /good one and love the wood pecker results you show. As a kid I sure admired them. Love from Florida..
Looks like the woodpeckers have been enjoying that tree.
I well remember the days when you were a regular at Brenda's. I'll bet they are happy to see you when you go now.
The pink glow is so nice
Brenda's sounds like a good idea!
Oh, what a nice day!! I love pizza!!!
WoW on what the woodpecker did to that tree! I looked this up, they peck for food, to create nesting cavities, to communicate and to store food. I found that interesting, hope you do to. That is a beautiful pink sky, I give it another WoW. Hope you're having a great day.
