This morning it was 51 degrees, cloudy, and windy when I went walking.
My usual walk again this morning.
All around town, the ball park and both cemeteries.
Only one fisherman at the pond.
Hardly ever fiind coins anymore but found a penny this time.
Only two pennies so far this YEAR!!
Yesterday, my Sunday morning walk was a bit of an adventure.
I walked around the industrial park and one of the roads dead ends by woods with what looks like an old road.
I was pretty sure if I followed it, it would come out behind the ball park.
Always wanted to see if that was true.
This seemed like a good time of the year to walk there before summer when it is so over grown.
So started walking there.
I followed it a ways and it kind of petered out.
Kept walking in the direction I thought the ball park would be.
Passed by this old foundation.
I finally got behind the ball park but I was on the wrong side of the brook and couldn't find any place to cross the water.
So I walked along the water and finally ended up in someones yard.
They had a nice little pond of their own.
Walked around the left side of the pond to a driveway which took me out to the road down from the post office.
It was a nice walk but one I won't do again. 🙂
🌷 🌷 🌷
Monday again so time to get those sheets washed and get the weekly house cleaning started.
This afternoon we went out to do a couple of errands.
One a stop at the library - dropped off a book and picked up a DVD.
We've been watching a series called 800 Words which is pretty good.
Started reading the first book in a mystery series written by Rhys Bowen called Murphy's Law.
That's all I have for today.
Hoping your Monday is a happy one and thanks for visiting.

These Mondays seem to come round so quickly!
I like that chair by the pond ... you must have walked farther than usual.
All the best Jan
I love the reflections in your "chair by the pond" photo, Karen! Beautiful!
What an adventure. You wound up in the land that time forgot!
Pennies are now worth keeping for value since the banks around here are no longer taking or giving them out since the mint stopped making them now. We just sold one from the 1940's for $5.00. Janice
You had quite an adventure with your walk. That chair by the pond looks like a perfect spot to read a book :)
That looks like a fun walk. I like to walk in places I haven't been before. But yes, sometimes it takes you nowhere!
That was quite an adventure you had on your walk. At least it didn't get you lost in the middle of nowhere.
