Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A chilly morning

A little chilly this morning at 22 degrees.
There was no wind though and once the sun rose at 7:14 it was sunny.

Walked around both of the cemeteries.
Went over to the long barn to see the cows.

This is down at the other end of the long barn.

I watched a truck come and take away a dumpster and left another one at the house across from the pond.
It was pretty muddy and left quite a mess all down the road.

I stopped at the Jeep and picked up a DVD and then walked over to the library and put it down the drop.

Continued through town and to the ball park and walked around there and then back through town and back to the Jeep.

Reflection
The pond water was like glass.

🙂    🥾    🚶‍♀️    ☀️

We went to Walmart for our weekly food shopping.
Like to go early so went first thing this morning.
Hardly anyone there.

I finished the throw blanket yesterday and this afternoon I packaged it up and got it ready for mailing.

Should have got some more cleaning done, but putting it off till tomorrow.
I read, and finished the diamond art card I was working on and made another!

It seems to be Mexican food day here at the house.
Lunch was Nachos which Ken made and for supper we are having tacos which I'll be making after I get done here.
We usually use the soft shells but having the hard shell ones this time.

It was sunny all day and the temperature warmed up in the 40's.

Hope you had a delightful Tuesday and thanks for stopping by.

Your gorgeous pond picture looked like our river yesterday morning. It was so calm for a change. We had tacos and cheese nachos for dinner tonight. Janice

That reflection photo is so beautiful!
You're braver than me. It was about that temp here and I've stayed inside for walking.
That dumpster really did make a mess.

I never did get very warm here today.
Early morning is the best time for shopping. I hate dealing with crowds any more.
That picture of the reflection in the water is really nice.

Even after the sun came out today, I think it only got up in the low 40s here, but it was wonderful to see the sunshine.

Did you take a picture of the blanket? I'm so glad that you are enjoying the diamond art crafting. I'm sure the recipients of the cards will truly appreciate the time and effort and love that you put into making them.
