With a temperature of 3 degrees it was back to walking in the basement today.
At least I had a nice break walking outside two days in a row.
Took pictures of my walk around the basement.
Not the best pictures but will give you an idea of the loop.
Start out at the bottom of the stairs.
Down the left side.
Along the back wall.
Around the other side which is where Ken works on the trains.
Walk between the black and yellow totes.
Around the other side.
And end up by the stairs again.
One loop completed is 85 steps.
I go around one way for 500 steps and then turn and go the other direction for the next 500 steps.
Usually start out first thing in the morning going 4,000 steps.
Second session 3,000 steps.
Third session another 3,000 for a total of 10,000 basement steps.

I was in the mood for some French toast so I made us that for breakfast.
Did my routine morning chores.
We went out to do a few errands and stopped for lunch and had some chicken strips and fries.
This afternoon I worked on the puzzle ๐งฉ a bit, read,๐ and knitted.๐งถ
Now I'm knitting a blue pillow with a popcorn stitch.
That's going to be it for this post.
Thanks for visiting and hope you had a fantastic day.

I continue to be so impressed by your dedication to walking. I imagine if you skip a day or so, you don't feel as well. I love the tour of your basement!
Dear Karen, thank you for sharing this tour of your basement ❤️
It's great that you keep up with your walks.
I love seeing your basement loop. I do something similar; walking in one direction and then another, as well as doing it several times in the day.
...most days here aren't safe for walking outside.
Thank you for sharing the pictures of your basement loop.
All the best Jan
Nice to see your basement loop and I admire your dedication to walking each day!
It was a cold morning, for sure. It was fun to take your basement walk with you. Thank you for sharing it with us. xx
It's not as pleasant walking indoors as out in the fresh air but sometimes you just have to walk the basement loop. I hope tomorrow you can get back outside.
Hi Karen! I think it's so great that you keep walking, even when it's so cold outside! I am sure that keeps you healthy and going strong. It's nice that you have a basement big enough to walk around in. Let's hope things warm up for you soon! See you again tomorrow!
It is nice to see your basement loop. It is not safe to walk outside around here. Have a great day and a happy weekend.
You have a nice big basement. I had no idea that Ken's train set up was so big. That's impressive.
French toast sounds good. I haven't had that in a long time.
I enjoyed your basement walk. However it makes me miss my basement, even though it was not as neat as yours. It was my 'playhouse'. But about your comment and words, yes, I am shocked at the 'bad words' used in public by many folks now, and truthfully shocked a women the most, some men I expect it.
Love from a cool Florida...
The stairs add a nice change for your body. Glad you have this space to walk when the weather warrants it!
Interesting view of Ken's train layout. I never thought of it being on a table, with access from the back too.
I am so impressed that you continue to walk int he basement. I don't think I could do it as a regular routine. It's been really cold here, too. Too cold to walk outside. The pups go out, do their thing, and hurry back into the warmth. Keep going!!!! xo Diana
THANK you for sharing this, my friend. I wonder how you do it when you say you walk indoors. I could do the same thing!
