Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Outside again

Temperature was 20 degrees this morning when I walked in town.
We had another dusting of snow overnight and this morning it was cloudy with a few snow flurries fluttering around.

My walk was pretty much the same as yesterday, having limited places to walk.
Made it over to the library and put a book down the drop.๐Ÿ“š
Then up and down some of the side streets.

Walked back and forth between both of the barns and checked in with the cows. ๐Ÿ„

Couldn't walk around the cemeteries or the ball park because the snow was too deep.
The sidewalks are covered in snow too.

Even though my walk is a bit limited, I'm so happy to be outside.
Not sure about tomorrow morning - supposed to go back down to single digits.
Hope they're wrong!!!!!

๐Ÿ™‚    ๐Ÿ˜€    ๐Ÿ˜Š    ๐Ÿค—

Later in the morning I'm happy to say that the sun was shining!!!

Got another load of laundry done today and the laundry is done, at least for a few days.๐Ÿงบ
Some more house cleaning got done in the morning and I knitted in the afternoon.

Just finished the shawl I was knitting a little while ago.๐Ÿงถ
I had to make it just a tad bit shorter because I ran out of the yarn I was using.
I was supposed to end up with 185 stitches on the needle and only had 171 when finished.
Those 14 stitches didn't make that much of a difference so it turned out fine anyway.
Didn't take a picture yet but when I do I'll put the picture up on my other blog with the details.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you had a fantastic day.

Glad you had another day of walking outside. It really was a nice day. We went to Morgantown today and by the time we got home it was 30 degrees F
Definitely counts as a heat wave. ๐Ÿ™‚

Glad you were able to get out and walk again. Look forward to seeing your shawl. We're expecting more snow here on Friday, hope it's not going to hit your area too.

Walking outside in the cold gets you warm so that is good. We just got home today from Killybegs after 4 weeks of dog and house sitting. It's cold here too, 2C with chilly winds coming off the ocean.

The snow looks pretty. Nice that you could walk outside in spite of it.

Beautiful walks are a blessing – you just have to get going...

It's -2 degrees Celsius here, and there's about the same amount of snow, and it's great for walking outside because there's no ice.
Sending you cheerful greetings.
Have a wonderful day. Viola

Hello,
It is still very cold here, the snow we had last week has not melted and it has a layer of ice on top. I am glad you were able to walk outside. Take care, enjoy your day!
