Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A cute little bear

When I got to town for my walk it was 32 degrees and windy.
I did get to see the sun before my walk ended.

Went straight through town and over to the industrial park and walked around there.
I think this is the first time this year I've been there to walk.

Back in town I walked around the ball park loop.
Still no chickens around and I thought maybe there were gone.
I made some chicken noises and they answered me back. 😊
Guess they are just staying inside keeping warm.

The pond is still frozen.

Happy to have had another nice walk around town.

😊    🥾    🌤

Another Saturday morning which means Stitching at the library.
Seven of us there.
I knitted on the blue throw blanket.
Debbie crocheted this cute little bear and gave it to me.
I named him Cocoa.

This afternoon I made some Macaroni Salad to go with the hot dogs we are having for supper.

Then I sat down to read The Rose Arbor and finished it.
It was a page turner for me.

Hope you had a great Saturday.
Thanks for coming by.

Mary - Yes, the little water fall is right outside our bedroom window and Ken made it some years ago.

Hi Karen! That is a cute little bear! I think I need to look up that book and see if I can get it for my Kindle. Did you ever get Kindle Unlimited? Have a good Sunday. See you again soon!
