No outside walking today for me, it was 6 below zero this morning.
Took a couple of pictures of Ken's Ho Railroad 🚂 Layout down in the basement which I have walked many, many laps around.
It was stitching morning at the library but I didn't go this week.
Have not been home much the last 3 days so just didn't feel like going out again.
Nice to have a whole day at home without having to go anywhere. :)
Did a couple of chores that needed doing and then read and knitted a while.
We started the next puzzle. 🧩
We've done this one a couple of times before.
A good time for puzzling because it is supposed to snow for the next 2 days starting this evening.
Supper is in the oven.
Trying a new recipe that I copied off of Mari's Blog.
It's called Meatloaf Surprise.
You can find the recipe here.
Hope you had a great Saturday.
Thanks for coming by.

I did lots of basement laps too. I wish I had a train layout to look at - instead I have a furnace and storage shelves.
Bob's been working on a puzzle too.
Hope you like that recipe!
...my lucky day! Thanks Karen for sharing Ken's train layout!!!
Nice to see Ken's train layout.
Enjoy the meatloaf.
All the best Jan
We just started another puzzle too. Also one we'd done before. Yours has a most interesting picture. Should be challenging.
Dear Karen, I love trains!!! Your train photos are fantastic, thank you so much for sharing them. Jigsaw puzzles are a wonderful pastime!
If I didn't know better, I would have thought the train set was all the real thing. Stay safe!
Hello,
I like the trains layout, Ken did an amazing job.
I have a puzzle ready to start soon.
Stay warm and safe! Have a great day and happy week ahead.
We sell White Mountain puzzles in our store. Ken's train layout is so amazing! It was -18 actual temp here yesterday morning at 8am when I had to leave to help mom get things from her house. Janice
That train setup is so impressive.
This is the perfect kind of weather for staying inside and doing puzzles or other similar activities.
Glad you could have a day at home. It is always fun to see Ken's train layout.
Looks like a fun puzzle. We just finished our second Thomas Kincaid puzzle and probably won't do anymore, even though I have 4 more in the box! They are too hard and not fun!
I really enjoyed seeing Ken’s train layout — there’s something so absorbing about those miniature worlds. It made me think of a group here in our local shopping centre: above the shops there’s a large space where model train builders meet once a week and build together. It feels like something Ken would enjoy too… though unfortunately the Netherlands is quite a distance away 😉 Still, it’s lovely to see the care and imagination in his layout.
Lots of Love 💕
