Pretty chilly outside this morning again, minus 2 degrees.
Only walked a little in the basement when I got up because I knew I'd be shoveling snow.
Too bad the tractor won't start, it would be so much easier.
Ken got out the snow blower but that was hard work too.
There was an inch or so of crusty ice between two layers of snow and the ice had to be broken up before the snow blower would work.
I was shoveling up by the garage doors and had to shovel the snow and ice in layers.
The snow plow left a HUGE pile of snow and ice blocking us in.
Just too tired to work on that.
We got about 90 percent done this morning and then came inside for lunch.
Didn't have anywhere that we had to go so never went back out to finish.
We'll get out tomorrow somehow. :)
Made sure the birds had something to eat.
Took the picture before I filled up the feeders.
It was just that the filter needed cleaning.
I now have 145 stitches on the needle for the shawl I'm knitting.
Needing a total of 185 I have 40 more stitches to add which is 80 more rows because one stitch gets added every other row.
I baked a cake this afternoon.
A white cake with chocolate icing.
I'll have a piece of that this evening for my snack.
Would you believe that it started snowing again this afternoon!! 🌨️
That's going to be it for this post.
Hope your Tuesday was great day.
Thanks for coming by.

That sounds like a hard-working day, and it also sounds like you listened well to your limits. Sometimes stopping is the right choice, especially when there’s no need to rush. What matters is that you’ll get out when you need to.

I like how the day still held small, steady things — caring for the birds, baking something comforting. Those moments count. Wishing you a peaceful rest of the day, wherever the snow decides to land next. 💕
Enjoy your slice of cake this evening.
All the best Jan
