A cloudy morning for walking.
24 degrees with a few snow flurries flying around.
Not much of a wind.
Walked all around town, the ball park, and both of the cemeteries.
There was no school so it was very quite around town again.
The pond is frozen.
Noticed a woodpecker made quite a hole in this tree by the ball park.
Didn't see anyone else around.
☁️ 🥾 🙂
We drove down to Lavale today.
First went to a shoe store where I always find what I'm looking for.
Today got two pair of boots to wear to church during the winter.
Next went to check out the mall.
Haven't been there in years!!
Just a few people there.
Ended up at the Walmart down there which is about double the
size of the one we go to nearer our house.
They had some of the Puzzle yarn I like so got some skeins of that.
It was Karen day today, Ken didn't get anything.
I finished the Sophie scarf and posted it and the pattern
on my other blog
Just popped some veggies and sausage in the oven to roast
so that will be supper in just a little while.
Today zoomed right by.
I washed the sheets this morning and still haven't put them back on the bed.
Hope all is well with you and thanks for stopping by.
HappyK 💕

I really like the Puzzle yarn also. It's so easy to work with. I'm making a cowl for one of my granddaughters with a skein of it.
...there must be a pileated woodpecker in the neighborhood.
I like your shoe/boot purchases. Pretty yarn too.
The scarf turned out really nice.
Guess what we're having for supper? Roasted sausage and veggies!
Hi Karen! I'm glad you found some boots! I will go over to your other blog and look at your Sophie scarf! I made one for our daughter and I liked it! Happy December!
You found some nice boots!
Very nice new boots!! You're ready for any kind of weather.
Roasted sausage and veggies for supper ... definitely yum!
All the best Jan
I like both pairs of boots you got. Looks like you'll be busy knitting for a while.
The scarf is gorgeous! The pond is so pretty, even frozen. Do kids ever ice skate on it? I love your tall boots. I bet you look really good in them.
I always do that! I take the sheets off first thing in the morning, and never feel like putting them back on!!
When I saw boots in the blog title, I wondered if the old boots that made their rounds around town a few years ago were back, lol!
Thank you, Karen. I printed the pattern.
Wow my woodpeckers just bore little holes around the tree in an almost perfect circle. I've never seen one that big or destructive to the bark.
Ohhhh, we've done that a few times - forget to put the sheets on and it's time for bed.Not fun.
Hello,
I like the boots and the yarn is pretty. The roasted veggies sound yummy, one of my favorites. Take care, enjoy your day!
Woodpeckers often get a headache!
God bless.
I went looking for my boots on Sunday and could not find them...maybe an excuse to buy some new ones like you did. ;-) I saw a woodpecker last week as well. Janice
That was one busy woodpecker! Great boots you found! Happy December to you!
We're finally having some cold temps here, it's 41* this morning! Nothing like your 'cold' but it's certainly cold to us. :) I love the Sophie Scarf, just right for keeping your neck warm.
Wow, Karen, that woodpecker and his work is quite impressive. I enjoy hearing them on my daily walk but never have seen any of their handiwork! They are certainly an amazing bird♥
Love the boots! Especially the longer ones!
It's gotten cold here too.
