Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Windy

42 degrees this morning when I walked.
There was a mix of sun and clouds and it was a little windy.

First walked over to the ball park and walked that loop a couple of times.
Thomas was there too running his laps.

Next I walked around both of the cemeteries.

Some progress on the addition to the house by the pond.

From there I walked to Sale Barn Road and up there a ways.

Times like this it would be nice to have a camera instead of just my cell phone.
There are two birds sitting on the dead tree.

The wind started picking up and was quite windy by the end of my walk.

🦃    💨    🌤

Another windy day for hanging out the clothes.
But today I outsmarted the wind.
Using two lines the clothes couldn't get wrapped around the line.

We captured a nice big buck on the game camera.

Knitted again on the throw for David.
I just have one more pattern row to knit and then
the 11 rows of the border which is just plain knitting.
Pretty sure I'll be able to get that done this evening when I get home.

Hope you had a happy Wednesday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Lovely photos, Karen. It is raining here in Montreal today and I saw what they are calling a wintry mix which means there may be snow ❄️ as well.

...Karen, windy here too. Put some rocks in your pockets so you don't blow away!

It was windy here today too. Great idea with the laundry.
Looks like a nice day though.

Before I read I thought the sheets on the line were someone's Halloween decorations. The look a bit like ghosts...lol

I am sure those people are glad for the progress on the addition.

This buck was in your yard? How clever to hang the sheets this way! I love the photo of the sun on the field!

It's hard to outsmart nature but I think your double line did the trick!! Good for you♥

My but that is a fine buck. I've never tasted venison but I'm told it's good meat. As a vegetarian ( 90% of the time) I would probably not eat it.

Hi Karen! Wow, that is a big buck, and it almost looks like he stopped and posed for the game camera. Great idea you had for drying your sheets on a windy day. We had some wind and clouds here too! Have a great Thursday. See you then!
