It was raining when I got up and left for my walk so made sure
I had the umbrella in the Jeep.
As as soon as I parked the Jeep the rain stopped and I
just had a cloudy walk.
Walked around town
and around the industrial park.
The DG Market is just there on the right.
Next up was walking around the ball park loop
which is just off to the right.
Then walked straight down the road here.
At the end of the road is the pond and where the Jeep is parked.
Very quiet around town early on Saturday morning.
No one else out yet.
Found some coins!!
A penny on the side of the road and
2 dimes and 2 nickels in the parking lot of the laundromat.
36 cents is a pretty good find.

Stitching time at the library this morning with the ladies.

I drove the truck there this time because Ken took
the Jeep and went to do a couple of errands and got
me gas while he was out.
He always get gas for me.
Isn't he nice.
I knitted on Dorothy's scarf and now have 37 inches of it done.

After lunch I baked the first batch of Welsh Cookies

You found a bonanza of coins today!
Ken is a good guy. :)
That is nice of Ken to always get your gas.
You did well with the coin find today.
All the best Jan
That's nice of Ken to get gas for you. You sure found a lot of coins while you were out
That is a beautiful Scripture from John. John is a favorite Bible book for me. You found lots of coins, when I see one I think "In God We Trust."
You make a quiet walk into an adventure.
Everything does look so still and empty. I do like seeing where the DG market is.
I had a very enjoyable Sunday, the sun's shining and there is a slight breeze and I had a book :) Perhaps i should have gone for a walk as well.
That quiet Saturday rhythm you shared feels like the kind of day people forget to appreciate, yet it carries the kind of charm that always draws folks in. The little wins, from the coins to the knitting progress and warm baking, build a story that feels steady and comforting in a noisy world. Keep sharing days like this, because they remind people there’s value in simple routines done with heart.
Sounds like had a great day, the stopped for your walk, finding the coins, more stitches are done and the cookies are made. Happy Sunday, have a wonderful week!
I get giddy when I find money anywhere. We had a bit of rain yesterday. looks like more on its way today. Hope the cookies are a hit. Janice
You don't often find coins these days. I found a penny and quickly put it in the bank before inflation catches up with it.
God bless.
I love hearing how you both take care of each other. A coin bonanza on this walk. :) Blessings on your Sunday!
When I walk across a parking lot to our truck I keep looking for coins but very rarely find any. You were lucky.
I agree. Ken is a good guy. Your pictures are so nice.
You hit the jackpot of coins!
