This morning when I walked it was 37 degrees.
A slight wind with a mix of sun and clouds.
On the way to town there were LOTS of deer up in
the field down from my house.
A couple of morning moon pictures.
Walked around both of the cemeteries first.
Two deer running through the cemetery.
Tried to take a picture but they were too fast.
On the way to the ball park I stopped at the post office
and mailed a card to a friend.
After walking around the ball park, I went over to the
industrial park and walked around there.
Need an extra water tank.
These have been here a while!!
A nice sunny walk but didn't see anyone else out.

Last night the final stitch was knitted on the throw blanket for David.
Nice to have it finished.
You can take a look at it
We have finally started getting some birds out back at the feeder we made.
It's been there all summer and the only thing we kept fed
were the chipmunks, and many of them got moved along.
The chickadees have finally discovered the feeder
and we have been joying watching them come and go.
Did a little housework and then when I should have been
doing a little more housework I knitted.
Wanted to get the throw blanket for Liz started.
Using the same yarn for hers as I did for David's
but the pattern is different.
That's all I have for today.
It's been a bright sunny day and hope you had one too.

Ivy - Glad to hear you decided to use the pattern to knit a scarf. π§Άπ What color are you making yours?
Ginny - Yes, the buck π¦ is on our property about 1/4 mile from the house.

Your link for the blanket takes me to blogger's home page. I love the first photo of the sky slowly changing from blue to pink. So cool that you have your own elk!
I do like your moon pictures.
All the best Jan
Beautiful moon captures, Karen!
Thanks for letting me know Ginny. I've fixed it.
David's blanket is nice. I'm sure he will like it a lot.
Karen, I started with what I had on hand, Caron’s Perfect Phasing in Ultra Marine (shades of blue.) Plan to soon order what you used. I hope my work comes out as beautifully as yours. Thank you for sharing.
We also had a cold morning and a big full moon. I didn't see any deer on my walk, but I've been seeing lots of deer tracks in the last few days.
Your first photo is so peaceful and pretty.
Your pictures are beautiful as always
The blanket for David is gorgeous. I really like the colors.
I love the blanket you are making for David. I'm sure that Liz's blanket will be just as beautiful. Great colors!
You did indeed fix the link. The blanket is such a gorgeous color! And also an unusual pattern as well. Looks hard!
The golf ball in the first photo went pretty high up.
God bless.
Beautiful sky captures, the moon looks lovely.
I am happy to hear the birds have found your feeder.
They are a joy to watch, birdwatching is one of my simple pleasures. Take care, happy Friday! Have a great weekend.
I like that blanket. You did an excellent job on that. The color is great too.
The moon has gotten me up earlier than usual these past few days. It is that bright. We have chipmunks in our wood pile now. They are cute, but can be destructive if they get in the house. Janice
That's a very nice throw blanket. Hooray for the birds at the feeder. Happy Friday to you.
I think making a blanket throw for Liz using the same yarn as you did for David's pretty throw is a great idea. Sort of matching, but not quite.
I love the color of the throw blanket for David.
Beautiful morning shots and your blanket is beautiful! Have a great weekend :)
