Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Billowy Sheets

A morning walk with sun and clouds.
It was 32 degrees and windy.
Sunrise 7:04

Walked first around town and dropped off a DVD
down the slot at the library.
(Movie - Hidden Figures - very good)

Walked back through town and around the upper cemetery.
Next over to the ball park to walk that loop and finally
back to the other cemetery and around there too.

No one else out that I saw on this chilly windy Monday.

For some reason this caught my eye and I snapped a picture.

Some progress on the new road being cut out.
I think it is going to be an entrance to a couple of businesses
to the right.

Walked up to where the gravel ends and it looks it is going to curve around
to the businesses.

Right now they share an entrance with a bakery/deli, a catering
business, and a driveway.

Started this Monday as usual with some house cleaning.
A very windy day to hang sheets out on the line but I did anyway.
It was so funny.
Ken helped me hold the sheets and get them secured on the line.
Our hands were freezing.
The sheets blew about like crazy.
I should have just dried them inside but then we wouldn't have
laughed so much.
๐Ÿ˜„

Worked some on the jigsaw puzzle.
๐Ÿงฉ
I'm just about done now with Dorothy's scarf.
I'm sure I'll finish it later.
๐Ÿงถ
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your day was a good one and you laughed often.

I love having the washing out on a windy day, the towels especially get nice and fluffy.

That pop of red in the stairs against all of the leaves on either side is a nice contrast.. I am glad you and Ken had fun laughing today . Laughter is so good for us. A friend and I had some good laughs at church yesterday and it just lifts our spirits.

We saw Hidden Figures and enjoyed it too.
Nice to watch the progress of the new road. I find it so interesting to see how they plan and build roads. If it was me doing it, they would be a mess! :)
I bet those sheets dried in no time!

Your photo of the leafy ground by the steps is actually rather cool. The steps match the leaves. The sheets look lovely and fresh and billowy!

Yes, those sheets are really billowing and whipping in the wind. Looks like your little town is growing - lots of new construction. Have a good Tuesday. See you again soon!

I like the photo of the sheets!
It has been windy and very cold here.
Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.

Sheets dried outside on the line are worth the effort!
