Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A sunny Monday

Very pleasant to walk in sunshine this morning.
It was 31 degrees and no wind.
Dark when I first start but by 6:50 is it light enough to
walk around the cemeteries.
Of course that changes daily.
Sunrise 7:12

Walked up and down and around town.
Then around both of the cemeteries.
Continued over to the ball park and then back to the pond.

A reflection in the pond but from the other side this time.
I walked right down to the water.

Didn't see any people about but did see
three deer roaming around in the cemetery.

🌤    🦌    🙂

It's Monday so the sheets got washed.
No wind this time so it was easy to hang them on the line!!
Not like last week!!

We loaded up the pickup with this weeks garbage and
dropped it off at the dump.

We hadn't planned on going to Walmart this week
but went anyway.
Needed milk and a few other things.
While there I got 2 more skeins of the same kind of yarn
as I bought last week.
Now I have enough to make another throw for someone.

This afternoon I knitted yesterdays two rows on the
temperature blanket.
Never got around to it yesterday.
Still have to do todays two rows

Hope you enjoyed your Monday.
Thanks for visiting.

Karen, that picture of the reflection of the trees in the pond is absolutely stunning. It is one that should be framed! So beautiful.

Glad you had an easier time of getting those sheets on the line this week. :)

I have crocheting that I need to get to or some Christmas gifts are going to be late getting in the mail.

What a beautiful photo of the pond reflection.
I washed sheets yesterday too. We can't have clotheslines here, but I do put the pillowcases outside to dry. Still gives me that wonderful scent of the great outdoors when I lay my head on the pillow :)

A bright and calm Monday, perfect for a walk and some quiet productivity. The deer in the cemetery must have been a peaceful sight, and it’s satisfying to have laundry done with no fuss. Knitting and crafting your temperature blanket sounds like a cozy way to end the day.
