Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A Foggy Walk

This morning my walk was in the fog.
43 degrees and no wind.
Sunrise 6:54

Walked all around town first with a stop at the library to
put a book down the drop.
Then around town some more,
around the ball park loop,
and around one of the cemeteries.

No one else around and with the fog I felt like the only
person for miles around.

A few pictures from my foggy walk.

By the time I was done walking and on the way home
the sun was out.

🥾    🦃    🚶‍♀️

Stitching time at the library this morning.
7 of us there today.
I knitted on the throw for Liz.
I came home with another book and a DVD.

Here is one of the Chickadees who have been visiting us.

Here is a another visitor, a White Breasted Nuthatch.
At first we thought it was a Chickadee until we got a closer look.

Just enjoyed puttering about the house this afternoon.

Hope your Saturday was a happy one.
Thanks for stopping by.

Your fog photos are beautiful! My favorite is the second one. Great pics of the adorable birds! Looks like they have plenty of seeds. The chickadees are so amusing to watch. And also the Nuthatches, when they walk down a tree trunk.

Admire your walks. Trying to increase ours here. Oh and I love the fog shots, BUT the chickadees are special. Love 'em.
