Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunrise

Another walk mostly under the street lights again.
31 degrees and calm.
Sunrise 7:38

God painted a spectacular sunrise again this morning.
Walked through town over to the DG Market.
Planned on walking around the industrial park but it was still too dark.

So I walked around town some more and then around both of the cemeteries.

Still a spectacular sky when I got up to the cemetery.

A couple of times around the cemetery and the sky looked like this.

The pond was a pretty picture too.

As well as looking up at the tree.

Not such a pretty picture was this poor fox who didn't make it across the road.

No one else out and about.
Too bad because they sure missed a beautiful sunrise.
Pictures don't do it justice.
What a feeling to look up an be under that sky!!!

🌤    🎃    🍁

Got a load of laundry out on the line before I left
for another Saturday morning at the library with the
stitching ladies.
6 of us there today.
I started another scarf.
Haven't finished the other one yet but this one is very simple and
I can knit it without having to count any stitches so I can talk!! 😊
Came back from the library with 2 books and 2 DVD's.

Driving home I realized I had forgotten that yesterday
was Friday when I post my ABC's post.
Will skip it for this week and get back on track next week.

While I was at the library Ken was at home making dinner for us.
Eggplant Parmasan
AND
he cleaned up the kitchen.
What a guy!!

This afternoon I got a crock pot of chili going.
That will be tomorrows supper.

Did some reading before supper.

That's it for today.
Thanks for stopping by and
hope your Saturday has been a good one.

The sky is on FIRE! A hot pot of chili on a fall day, sounds good! Poor fox. Foxs are my favorite animal next to cats.

Beautiful photos of the changing sky.
Oh no, poor Mr. Fox. That is a sad sight. We used to see them here, but haven't seen any in a few years.
I have chili bubbling away on the stove now. Fall always feels like chili weather.

I have never seen a more beautiful sky. Wish I could have seen it in person. Poor fox. I hate to see any poor animal killed that way. What a great husband you have. I would absolutely faint if I came home and found Dan doing anything in the kitchen. 😂
