Rained overnight and still some lingering showers
this morning when I walked.
It was 62 degrees and no wind.
Sunrise was at 6:50 but there was no sun to be seen.
The rain ended half way through my walk and it didn't rain
again till later in the day.
Walked all over town first, and then around the ball park.
Around town again and one of the cemeteries.
Rebecca was out walking and Lena too.
Stopped to talk to Lena.
She is also one of the stitchery people who I meet at the library
and told me she wouldn't be there today.
Pretty quiet around town on this rainy morning.
Getting back to the parking lot here where my walk ended.
☔️ ☁️ 🥾
Spent the morning at the library with the stitching ladies.
5 of us there this time.
Doesn't seem to matter how many of us are there
it's always a good time.
While I was there I picked up the 3 books that I had on reserve.
By mid afternoon we saw some sun.
Started reading one of the books I just picked up.
We're making hot Italian sausage and peppers for supper.
That's all I have for today.
Hope you enjoyed your Saturday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi dear Karen, your photos are always beautiful...and today is no different! It rained here in Montreal last night and today as well, a welcome sight and thankfully the temperatures have been cooler, which is a relief!
Your supper sounds delicious (except for the hot). I love sausages including Italian sausage, but I prefer the mild ones. Still, what is important is that we eat well and enjoy what we eat!
I love the quote at the end of your post!
Thank you so much for sharing your life here, it's so lovely to see your photos and read what you have been doing, always enjoyable!
I really like your quote at the end. And your first photo captures the dark and wet so beautifully.
I like your first photo, as I love a dark/rainy day.
Oh my! The hot Italian sausage and peppers look absolutely delicious! We love things like that. :)
Even a rainy day is beautiful! I like the photo with the fence. Your sausage and peppers look good.
Peppers and hot sausage is one of my favourites.
Your sausage and peppers look good.
All the best Jan
Ohh I’m so excited for what’s to come, thanks to you. Looking at the forecast, it’s showing temperatures dropping down to the mid 80’s ( which is a start) and lows in the 60’s.
Wet streets look so nice to me.
Dinner looked good but I would need to use the mild sausage. My stomach cannot take hot sausage anymore and I use to love it. It has been getting darker earlier and lighter later here. No rain though. Janice
