Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Pillow

This morning it was 58 degrees, cloudy and calm.
Sunrise 6:59

Started my walk going up and down the main street in town and
then back towards home a ways before turning
around and going back to town.

Continued back through town again and over to the ball park
and walked around there a couple of times.
Then back to the pond.

Had all my steps in so didn't walk around the cemeteries.

Rebecca was out walking and Sheila running.

On the way to town I saw a deer and her twin fawns.
They are the same ones that I watch out back of my house.
I can tell because the doe has a slight limp.

☁️    🦌    🍁

This week we did our food shopping at Walmart.
We like to go first thing in the day to get it over with.

Had lunch after we got home and I put everything away.
Don't like shopping but do like putting it all away.

I finished all the weave-it squares yesterday for the pillow.
This afternoon I finished sewing the sides up while sitting out
back on the deck.
There are 60 squares in it.
This has three sides sewn together.

I left the one side open to slip in the pillow form,
which I'll get on Thursday at church when we meet for
Blankets and now Pillows too.
Then I'll sew the last side.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you had a happy day.

GrannyM - The 39 Steps that we watched was the Alfred Hitchcock one from 1935. which we didn't like.  A few days before we watched the 1959 version.  It was corny but a lot better.  There is another later movie from 1978.  Haven't seen that one and our library doesn't have it. I'm going to read the book by John Buchan, which I've just requested from our library.

Another lovely start to your day with the beautiful sky. I like the colours of the pillow case. I remember watching 39 steps years ago but I don't remember what version it was.

Hi Karen. I love the weave-it squire pillow. Will you make a blanket to match. Are you giving them to care ceter/nursing home residents? I love that scripture at he end and also the picture of the sweet baby. Have a good Wednesday. See you again soon!
