Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Tuesday

62 degrees this morning and cloudy for my morning walk.
Sunrise 6:33

Walked first around both of the cemeteries.

Then went down the main road toward home,
turned around and walked back to town.

Continued walking through town

and up and down the side streets.

Not much happening around town.
Seemed like a Sunday!!

On the way home I saw a whole bunch of Goldfinches when
I turned in at my road.

☁️    🌻    🚶‍♀️

Time to get the oil changed on the Jeep.
We usually go to the garage/dealer right in town
but this time just went to JiffyLube
which is just past Walmart.
We were in and out in about 15 minutes.
Nice just pulling in and getting it done without having to drop
the car off and then pick it up again.

From there we went food shopping at Walmart.
Didn't need much so were in and out there fast too.

Home to get a few more things done around the house.

Blankets for Babies is this Thursday and there was no one
had volunteered to do the devotions yet so I said I would.
I spent some time today getting that ready.

Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your Tuesday was a great one.

Your town does look quiet.
How lovely to see those Goldfinches.

Enjoy the remainder of your Tuesday.

All the best Jan

Imagine if the whole world took the time for a 5-mile walk? People would be happier.

It does look quiet, but don't you love it?!

Hi Karen, The hay wrapped up in those white tarps looks a little like giant cigarettes. It's nice you volunteered to do the develotional at Blankets for Babies. I hope you have a great Wednesday. See you then!
