Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sunny Day

Another sunny walk this morning.
62 degrees and calm.
Sunrise 6:26

On the way to town saw a doe and her fawn but
none on the way home.

The Morning Moon

A delightful walk as usual.
Went around both of the cemeteries, the ball park
and all around town.

Some geese flew overhead while I was walking around one of the cemeteries.
Couldn't decide which picture to post so here are both of them.

Quiet around town and didn't see anyone else out walking
or anywhere, just people in cars and trucks.

☀️    🌸    🌼

Glad to have a nice sunny day so I could get some laundry done.
Spent the morning doing the start of this weeks housework.

That left the afternoon for fun stuff.
Reading
Knitting
Walking around outside
Porch sitting

That's all I have for today.
Thanks for stopping by.

...it seems a bit early to geese in formations!

Hi Karen. I like both of the geese pictures. Seeing the geese in formation means that fall is on the way. I love the Ralph Waldo Emerson quote at the end. Have a good week!

Beautiful photos, Karen! I love seeing the geese in their V formation! They support each other, which I think humans can learn from them. :) Not all humans, just some.
Thank you so much for sharing.

Your photos today are all so pretty! I love the geese and the sunrise over the corn.
Great quote too.
You asked about my treadmill walk - I walk for 30 minutes every morning. I'm not as tough as you going out in all weather!

You had a lovely start of the week. Here it reached 35C which is too hot for comfort. 96 or 97F

Your flying Geese photos are wonderful! I don't know how you did it. They fly over our house every evening, and I am still not able to capture them well!! It is hard! They fly fast and are gone quickly!
