Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Brownsville, PA

A bit foggy this morning and 62 degrees with a breeze.

First walked around both of the cemeteries.

Went over to the long barn

to see the Speckled Park cows.
They were all up and eating this morning.

Next walked down the main road towards home and back.
Stopped at the Jeep to pick up a book and then walked
to the library and put it down the slot.

From there walked up and down the side streets in down till
I got all my steps in.

Rebecca was out walking and Shiela out running.
We passed by each other 3 times.

Never did see the sun till later in the day.

🐄    ☁️    🌻

Today we took a ride up past Uniontown, PA to Brownsville
to walk around the Steam Show that was being held today,
Saturday and Sunday.
Nice that we went today to avoid the crowds tomorrow.
Had a nice time walking around looking at all the different things.
Weather was nice, sun and clouds and I think it might have hit 80.
Lots of trees around giving us shade.

There were also a lot of craft and flea market venders.
I picked up two of these cute little towels.

You hang them on the oven handle to dry your hands.
I put the red one up when I got home.

On the way home we made at stop at Harbor Freight in
Uniontown to pick up a couple of tires for the carts we use at Fingerprints
that needed to be replaced.

Made it back home in time to make the pizza dough.

All in all a lovely day.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Hope your Friday was a good one.
❤️ HappyK 🤗

Deb - Did you see me Wednesday night during hand shaking time?  I waved to you from the aisle.

Billy - The recipe is supposed to be the McDonald's pancake recipe.  If it isn't they taste just like it.  Not sure what you meant about selling pancake mix here.

The Steam Show looks like a lot of fun. Do you and Ken ever go to the Springs Festival in October? Seeing all of the trees and vendors booths in your pictures made me think of it.

I like your towels that you bought today!

And I also enjoyed seeing those Speckled cows again.

The steam show looks fun. We have one in our town every year in July - fun to see that equipment.
I like your towels!

That steam show looks like it would be interesting. I like looking at old stuff like that. I also like browsing craft booths. I like the towels you got. I don't have the type of handle on my oven that I can hang a towel on it.

No more Friday cemetery markers? I have prayed for all the people you have featured. Thank you for your kindness.

Hi Karen. I tuned in a bit late and probably missed your wave, but I did see the last part of the shaking hands, and I saw you walking around! I think you are two hours ahead of me, so sometimes I tune in late. The steam show looks like it was really interesting and I love those cute farm-themed towels you got! Glad you had a nice day. See you again soon!
