Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Saturday

 Hello everyone and Happy Saturday.

Very still this morning when I walked and 75 degrees.
Some clouds around and sun too.
Sunrise 6:11

Saw 3 deer on the way to town and 2 on the way home.

Walked around both cemeteries.

Continued walking down the road towards home and back again
through town and to the DG Market.
Then over to the ball park to walk that loop and then back to the Jeep.

Quiet around town and didn't see anyone else walking or even outside.

🌤    🌸    🤗

Met the others at the library for a morning of Needlework.
6 of us there today.
3 knitting, me included,
2 embroidering,
and 1 crocheting.

I always have to bring something that I don't have to count stitches
because I talk too much and lose my place.
It is NOT just me, we all do that.🙂

While at the library picked up a book for Ken and a DVD
and two books for me that we had on reserve.

We had a rain shower pass over us this afternoon
that lasted only about 10 minutes and then the sun came out again.
That's when I went outside to do some weeding.

Thanks for stopping by.
❤️ HappyK 🤗

...the fountain in the pond is doing a great job of keeping the water clear!

"Oh what a beautiful morning!"
We have a brief sprinkle and then the sun shone all day. We need a day long downpour because it's been so very dry.
Sounds like a perfect day!

I think it’s been since April since we’ve had rain. Our rainy season starts in Oct/Nov and I’m already looking forward to it. It’s so dry.

Sounds like a lovely Saturday. We didn't get any of the rain, but we heard the thunder all around us.
