5 Deer wandering around along the road on my way to town.
It was 66 degrees and cloudy for walking.
First walked around both of the cemeteries.
The corn is now shoulder high and you can barely see the long barn
from the cemetery.
The two families (15 of them) are still hanging around together.
Walked down the left side of town to the ball park and walked around there.
Back to the pond and up and down the main road in town to finish my walk.
Rebecca was out again and I saw Sheila's car in the parking lot
but never saw her.
Saw a man walking a BIG dog who I've never seen before.
☁️ 🌸 😊
Went back to town later in the morning to the library
for the book club meeting.
There were 7 of us there and every one liked the book!!
The Cherry Pickers by Amanda Peters
(and it did have a good ending)
Found a couple more planters in another box.
I washed them all and now they are all sitting out.
This is all of my collection.
The yellow dog on the floor was my grammas and I don't ever remember
being in her house and not seeing it there.
You can tell it is older because it is heavier and the bottom is glazed.
Started reading another book this afternoon.
Land of Silence by Tessa Ashar
Did a bit of knitting too.
We were going to have chicken for supper but it didn't thaw in time
so we had our homemade pizza instead and will have the chicken tomorrow.
We ended up having a beautiful sunny day in the 70's.
Hope your Thursday was a good one.
Thanks for stopping by.
❤️ HappyK 🤗

All the best Jan
Wat a wonderful collection these planters are. I'm going to look up "Land Of Silence". The purple flowers on the arbor are gorgeous!!!

I love your planter collection all sitting out.
That dog is a treasure.
I’ve not ever seen planters like those. What’s the back story on them?
...Karen, you have collections of collections!
Hi Karen! I love that antique planter collection. I will have to look up the new book you are reading and see what that one is about too! I hope you have a great Friday. See you then!
Your pretty planters look great in that bookshelf.
It never ceases to amaze me how fast corn can grow and how quickly the plants become tall!
The baby geese have grown, haven't they?
God bless.
Love the photos, the geese and clematis is lovely.
The planters and the dog are cute.
Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend!
That lattice with the clematis growing on it is gorgeous.
What a fabulous collection of planters you have. The yellow dog is cute and what a treasure to have something from your grandmother's house.
We had a really foggy morning here and then when it burned off the temperatures went into the 80s again.
Your planters are beautiful, Karen and love the way you have them displayed.
