Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

The Shed

70 degrees this morning and a bit of fog around first thing,
then sunny and calm.

First walked around both of the cemeteries.

A new resident will be arriving soon.

Saw the horses in the pasture down by the Drane house
so walked down there.

When they saw me they came walking over.

Then I walked down the main road back towards home a ways
before coming back to town.
Nice walking there because when the trucks drove by I
got a nice breeze. 😊

Continued through town to the ball park.
Walked around there and back to the Jeep.

The big news for us today is that our shed got delivered.
It matches the house perfectly.
It was amazing to watch the two men bring it up the driveway
and put it in place.
We watch a guy on YouTube who delivers sheds
and it was nice to watch someone doing it in person.

I recorded the arrival of the shed.
Here it comes up the driveway.

Past the porch where I am taking pictures.

Getting it put in place.

Leveled and ready.

A pressure treated board will be put on the bottom and
we will make a gravel ramp.

Supper tonight was chicken and potato salad.

Hope you enjoyed your Tuesday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Ann - We don't have AC either but we have 3 ceiling fans and there is usually a nice breeze so really don't need AC.

Deb - Yes, Pastor Leather is still our Pastor and has been here for 31 years.

Andrea - We have a great Pastor.  I wrote a post about him some years ago.  You can read it HERE.

Hi dear friend, this is great that you got the shed! And your walk looks and sounds lovely! So sweet that the horses came closer to greet you when they saw you coming. A lovely welcoming committee! :)

What beautiful scenes you captured today!
I like the shed! We are planning to put up something similar, but because it would be hard to have it delivered, we're ordering a kit and Bob will build it.

Hi Karen! That is a great shed. It is nice and roomy and it matches your house perfectly! It was interesting to see how it was delivered and put into place. Chicken and potato salad for dinner sound so yummy! Maybe I will make some potato salad soon. See you tomorrow!

That's a very nice shed!!!! Chicken and Potato salad sounds like a preview ( pre-taste?) of July 1 or in your case the 4thπŸ’—

That is a wonderful shed and it truly does match your home. Loved seeing the horses. Dinner also sounded delish. Janice

That would have been fun to watch them deliver that shed. I would never have been able to back up your driveway and past your porch to put that in place. I have a hard enough time backing up into my short driveway. It looks really nice there.
I have ceiling fans here too but they don't do much to help. My tower fan in the basement (Ann cave) helps keep me cool though

Karen, the pictures of the horses are both beautiful with the steamy fog rising! SO pretty!

And congratulations on the arrival of your shed. It looks SO nice!

Oh, what a beautiful shed, HappyK! It does match your house nicely. You should get a lot of use out of it, for certain. Now I'm off to read your post about your pastor. Thank you for linking it. Love, Andrea xoxo

OK, I just read it. What a wonderful pastor, Pastor Leatherman, is. Bless him for all his hard work for his flock!
