This Saturday morning it was 64 degrees with a mix of
clouds and sun as I walked.
Quiet this morning and didn't see anyone else out.
Started my walk going up to the cemetery and around there.
Went over to the long barn and walked all the way around it.
Then I walked down the other way and went to the Drane house
to see how the garden there looked.
Walked around the cemetery a couple more times and then
went to the other cemetery and walked around there too.
My friend KitKat was out and came over to see me.
The other day I saw him sitting on a porch of an empty house.
For those of you who don't know KitKat he lives with a family
across the street from the cemetery.
He is part of a family with 3 kids and two dogs.
I continued my walk going down the main road towards home a ways
and by the time I got back to town had all my steps in.

A little after breakfast I was off again to the library to
meet the Needleworks ladies.๐งถ
There were 6 of us there and the cookies were a hit.
Jalene took some home for Farmer Marvin. ๐๐ช
Some of the blossoms on our tomato plants have rotted off.
I read that too much rain will do that, and we've sure had our share of rain.
A couple of the blossoms on the cherry tomatoes made it
and now there are two little tomatoes starting to grow.
No garden shed yet but it will be here either Monday or Tuesday.
The regular delivery guys weren't there but will be back next week.
I'm thinking I'd rather have the regular experienced drivers deliver it anyway.
Things happen for a reason.
I finished knitting the two scrubbies for Debbie already and won't she
be surprised when I give them to her tomorrow at church.
The antibiotics that Ken is taking is doing the job.
His arm is no longer swollen and the red area is shrinking
and not very red anymore.
Thank you for your prayers.
The sun stuck around the whole day.
Spent some time sitting out on the porch.
We made one of those everything salads for supper today.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope your Saturday was a sunny one too.

Ginny - The breed of the white cows from yesterdays post are Charolais. Farmer Marvin only has a few of them.

So pleased that the antibiotics Ken is taking is doing the job!
I too had a lovely salad today with a crustless quiche ...it was tasty :)
All the best Jan
The garden at the Drane house is looking good.
We haven't had enough rain here and it's extremely hot and windy here today so our plants are dry.
Glad to hear Ken is doing better.
I had a salad for supper tonight too. It was good!
I am so glad that Ken is on the mend. Beautiful photos of your walk! Kitkat is sweet and delightful!
Here in Montreal we may get severe storms tonight. Monday it is supposed to be extremely hot and humid! 46 degrees Celsius...or 114 Fahrenheit. I got some electrolytes, a large grocery order that the store delivered and I plan to stay in.
Your posts are a breath of fresh air, your photos are lovely and thank you so much for sharing your life here.
...I love the barn down the lane!
I never heard of this breed of cow. And I thought the name sounded French even before I read your link! The garden is coming along beautifully! I hope your tomato plants revive once it stays dry for awhile!
