It was 61 degrees this morning.
Today's walk was a rainy one.
The rain started on my way to town so didn't have my rain coat.
There was a light steady rain the whole time I walked
so was pretty well soaked by the time I got home again.
Wasn't going to let a little rain keep me from my walk.
Rainy morning walk collage.
Not only did I not see any people around there were
just a few cars too.
Walked all around town and dropped off a book when I
passed by the library.
Then went over to the ball park and walked around there.
That spot that was cleared and had stone put down
didn't get it quite level.
Water pooled up there in the corner.
The people with the chickens found a good way to get
water for the chickens.
The tarp slants down which makes the rain water go right
into the water container.
Continued my walk over to the cemeteries and walked around both of them.
An enjoyable walk in spite of the rain.
🙂 🌧 ☔️ 🌸
Went back to town after breakfast to the library
for Needlework with the ladies.
Just 3 of us there today.
I almost finished the baby blanket yesterday but still had
another row to sew.
Finished that up today and then knitted the two rows on
the temperature blanket from yesterday.
If you'd like to see the latest Baby Blanket you can see it
HERE.
Just puttered about the house this afternoon.
Got a few things done and then read.
Hope your Saturday was a good one.
Thanks for stopping by.

Andrea - Rarely do I have a dog problem but it does happen. I carry pepper spray with me just in case.
Not that it was a problem but once I had a couple of goats follow me!!🐐🐐

The rain made for some nice pictures. I like the baby blanket. I like the ran fly for the chickens! I’m sure the chickens appreciated it.
You remind me of the mailman's motto.
"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."
The blanket is so cute, and can be used for either a boy or a girl.
I like the rain cover for the chickens. A good idea to slant it into the water container! I always appreciate your prayers for my son.
I absolutely love your rain 🌧 photos. The rain cover for the chickens 🐔 is wonderful. Goats are so cute and they can be aggressive at times.
You don't let much stop you from your walking! Good for you!
That was a good idea for the chickens.
I like your new blanket!
...water never runs up hill!
How do you keep the book dry?
Sorry you got soaking wet. The people that used that tarp to get water for their chickens were pretty smart.
I admire your dedication to walking. The rain would have had me turning around and going back home.
The baby blanket looks great. I like those colors.
It's raining here too.
God bless.
You are a dedicated walker! That is a good idea to capture the rain water for the chickens. The baby blanket is cute. Take care, happy Sunday! Have a great week!
Oh, what a *beautiful* baby blanket, HappyK! I must admit I thought it was a fabric quilt at first. The stitches are so tight & lovely, as are the colors. As Eileen said, you truly are a dedicated walker. Hurray for you! ~Andrea xoxo
I carry pepper spray with me too when I walk. I only had to pull it out of my pocket once when a dog came running at me from behind a house! Luckily the owner called it back pretty quick. I would have hated to have to use it!
What a good idea that is to capture the rain water for the chickens.
All the best Jan
The baby blanket is so pretty, Karen. You do beautiful work!
Rain makes for nice photos. Smart use of that shade cloth!
