Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Gravestone, Blooms, and Fingerprints

68 degrees this morning when I walked.
It started out a bit foggy again but this time no
sun arrived and it stayed cloudy.

On the way to town I saw 2 deer down road from my house
and 2 more on the side of the main road to town.

Walked first around the lower cemetery,
then around town and over to the ball park and around there.
Then back to the cemetery on the hill and around
there a few times.

A quiet morning and didn't see any one else out.

I took photos of some of the blooms I saw around town.

This Fridays gravestone

Another workday at church doing Fingerprints so left
right after breakfast.
Another low turnout but got good work done and had fun doing it.
The second work day we just work from 9 - 12 or so.
On the way home we stopped at McDonalds and had
some crispy chicken strips.
We ate them parked by the lake.

Rained this afternoon.
Still haven't had to water any plants.
We've been getting a good mix of rain and sun.

Friday, so once again we had homemade pizza for supper.

Hope you enjoyed your Friday and
Thanks for stopping by.

This time of year, it's so enjoyable to see all the pretty blooms!
That's another nice tombstone.
Crispy chicken strips by the lake sounds good.

Beautiful photos of the lovely blooms! I have never tried the crispy chicken strips, but I have tried the chicken nuggets. The tombstone is amazing!

Those flowers that you took pictures of around town are just gorgeous!

Glad you had fun doing the Fingerprints today, even though the turnout was low. Your lunchtime sounds so nice. Such a beautiful lake!

Have a great weekend, my friend. xx

Hi Karen! There are a lot of beautiful flowers around your town. It's good that you are getting rain. We need it. Our governor is asking the citizens of Utah to pray for rain because we are having such a dry summer and there was a pretty bad wildfire last week that destroyed some homes. Very sad and scary
I hope your weekend is good. See you again tomorrow!

I like the collages of pretty flowers. That last picture, the purple Clematis, is just like one that we have.
