This morning it was 59 degrees, sunny and calm this morning
when I went walking.
Sunrise 5:49
Walked around the cemetery on the hill first and then
up the main road and the side streets.
Next it was around the ball park loop,
more around town and then lastly the other cemetery.
Pretty quiet around town this morning.
No one else out walking.
Stopped to talk to Bill who is the one that fixes things in town
and keeps it neat and tidy.
Baked some more chocolate chip cookies for the kids for Bible Time
which is coming up in July.
I baked a double batch of what I usually do and baked 9 1/2 dozen.
Sure glad they freeze well.
🍪 🍪 🍪
I spent a good part of the afternoon sitting out on the porch
reading and knitting.
A beautiful sunny day.
Last night at church we finished a study of Rahab the Harlot.
A very interesting study.
I really enjoy the studies of men and women from the Bible.
Our Pastor gives us an in depth study that brings the people
alive so they are not just names in the Bible.
Next Wednesday we will start Moses.
We had some left over baked pasta from Tuesday which we ate
up for supper this evening.
Hope you had a great Thursday and
Thanks for stopping by.

It's so nice to see flowers blooming.
The cookies look good. That's a lot of cookies to make in a day.
Your chocolate chip cookies look scrumptious! This is one of my favourite cookies, after that would be oatmeal cookies...like Dad's in the package.
Your photos are beautiful and captivating of your early morning walk.
I also love to learn about the lives and character of the men and women in the Bible.
Wonderful post, thank you so much for sharing.
I ditto everything that Linda said above. You are definitely an expert at making cookies. I know the kids are going to love them.
You must have very good self control over the chocolate chip cookies. Just knowing they were in the freezer would be a temptation. Chocolate is hard for me to resist and chocolate chip is my favorite cookie!
I've recently read a novel about Noah. Fiction of course but the basics were there and it sent back into the Bible to study him. What a remarkable faith he had - wow!
I would have to taste test the cookies, I'm afraid they would be one or two short from each batch. Enjoy your day.
Lovely collage and it looked like a beautiful morning. You must be very popular with the kids at church. :) My dad's name was Moses.
I really like these sweet daisies. I have some artificial ones on my kitchen table now. Your cookies look so good!! Gosh, if I even try one dozen, my back goes out!
Hi Karen. I like doing in-depth studies of people in the Bible too. It's important to learn about the people who served God so we can follow their example. The Bible studies your pastor does sound very interesting. Those cookies look delicious!
How do you get your cookies so nice and round? Mine always turn out soo wonky. What am I doing wrong, you think?
240 cookies? That won't last long. I did study Moses; he was a basket case.
God bless.
Oh those cookies sure look good. I have been tempted to bake cookies but I know that I will eat way too many of them
Love the landscapes and the flowers.
The cookies look delicious, my hubby's favorite.
Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend.
...lucky kids, I'd say!
I *love* leftovers! It's like a day off of cooking. Your pictures are absolutely wonderful as always, HappyK. ~Andrea xoxo
All those cookies! I could smell them from here. They look delicious.
Such pretty flowers.
I'm thinking of taking up knitting again. I had given it a rest for a while.
One of those cookies sure would have been good with my morning coffee, yummy!! We've had several rainy days, not good for porch sitting. BLAH....
Your cookies look delicious and amazing. I sure wish I could make good cookies. Seriously, I have never in my life made a batch of cookies the looked fit to eat (as mama used to say) :)
You really have nice temps in the mornings. I guess we need to travel farther north to cool off! The cookies look so good. How sweet of you to bake them. Hugs Diane
The cookies do look good, I'm sure they will be enjoyed :)
All the best Jan
