Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

A Daisy from Anna

When I got to town for walking it was 71 degrees and a
little foggy at first again, then sunny.

Walked a few times around the lower cemetery and then the
one on the. hill.
Walked all around the long barn by the cows and then to the
Drane house by the other barn.
The bulls haven't been there for a while now as you can see by all the grass.

Continued walking around town and the over to the ball park.

The fence has been put up around the pickle ball court.

Saw another woman walking her dog around the park that I've never seen before.
She was leaving as I was getting there.

A young lady Anna walks around the ball park
with her dad Mark once in a while.
She has some kind of a learning disability and is always smiling
and is a ray of sunshine.
She saw me and called my name and came over to give me a hug.
Mark said it would be fine if I posted their picture.

Anna spotted some daisies, ran over to them, picked one and gave it to me.😊

We said good-bye and they continued walking around the park
and I went back to the Jeep.

When I got back home I took another picture of the shed.
It looks so at home there in the trees.
This is the first shed we've ever had that we didn't build ourselves
and there have been many.
Over the years we've built
3 garages
2 tractor barns
5 sheds
2 cabins
We also renovated an old house.

After breakfast we headed out to Lowe's.
Picked up a couple sheets of pegboard and a countertop
to put in the shed.

Next stop was Walmart for food shopping.
Home and had lunch.
Will put up the pegboard and countertop another day.

I did a little weeding around the yard this afternoon.

Later we had a thunder storm rumble through.

Hope your Wednesday was a good one.
Thanks for stopping by.
🤗 HappyK ❤️

The Pickle Ball court looks really nice!

What a blessing Anna must be to you. That Daisy that she picked made me smile.

The shed does look at home there nestled among the trees. You and Ken have certainly done a lot of building and renovations in your time together.

Love the Scripture verse at the end today. xx

The shed looks right at home where it is. Isn't it nice that you didn't have to construct it????

Hi Karen! Mark and Anna sound like very nice people. It's sweet that Anna gave you a flower. The shed looks right at home on your property. That scripture is a good one and very appropriate for many things going on in the world today. Thanks for another nice post. See you again tomorrow.

It is so nice that Mark goes on walks with Anna. And I bet you taking her photo made her feel really special. Gosh, you guys are professional builders!

That was so sweet of Anna to pick the daisy for you.
Your shed does look awesome. You and your husband are quite the do it yourselfers. Were all those things you built for yourself or for other people? I always thought it would be fun to buy an old house and renovate it. Of course it was something I never had the funds to do.

Yes, your shed looks like it was meant to be, HappyK. I love it. I also love the story about the disabled young woman...with her forever smile. I wish all of humanity was "disabled" like that. Smiling & giving gifts of flowers!! Love, Andrea xoxo
