A bit foggy when I drove to town for my walk.
At least it wasn't raining, no wind and 55 degrees.
Walked up and down most of the streets in town
and as I passed by the library, dropped a DVD down the slot.
On one of the side streets there is a yard that looks like a park.
Sean lives there and he spends a lot of time working in his yard.
I think it would be nice if he made a path that wonders around his yard.
Not today, but Sean has given me a tour of his yard.
There is a lot out back too.
From the garden yard I walked over to the ball park, around there,
and a couple of times around the cemetery up on the hill.
I am thankful to be able to walk every morning around my little town.
🙂 🌫 ☁️ 🥾
Saw some sun today once the fog moved out.
Nice to be able to get another load of wash done and hung out on the line.
This morning I finished up the house work for this week.
While I was vacuuming the bedroom I glanced out the window and saw
the black and white cat sitting there.
Can you spot him?
He comes around once in a while, think he's one of the farm cats from next door.
Sat outside for a little while at back on the deck.
Read and also knitted as usual.
For supper tonight I made Spicy Chicken.
We put the chicken on a kaiser roll with lettuce and mayonnaise.
We had a few tater tots with it as well.
That's all for today.
Thanks for visiting and hope your day was a good one.

I also love to talk walks in nature. I find it so soothing and very therapeutic. Your photos are lovely! I also got a load of laundry done today. Thank you so much for sharing.
I like your foggy morning pic.
Sean's yard is beautiful! I would love to walk around it too.
Your chicken looks good, I saved the recipe. Thanks!
Wasn't it nice to see the sun again today? Especially since they were calling for rain showers all day. :)
Sean has a beautiful garden...he has certainly put a lot of planning into it and it shows.
Your supper tonight sounds so good.
To Happy K, with a Smile from the Path
Dear Happy K, your day sounds bright,
Even fog can’t dim its light.
With every step through town you roam,
Each garden path feels close to home.
Sean’s yard must be a lovely scene,
A quiet park of lush and green.
A winding trail would be a treat,
Where blooms and peaceful moments meet.
A black and white cat comes and goes,
A quiet watcher, heaven knows.
And spicy chicken, tater tots too—
Simple joys that carry through.
With yarn in hand and book in lap,
You found your peace, your midday nap.
Thanks for the stroll through all you do—
It brought a bit of calmness too.
John
Hi Karen! I love that poem that John wrote! What an honor to have a poem written about you. :-) Sean's yard is just beautiful. Glad you had another good day. The scripture at the end is very appropriate for me as I am trying figure out exactly when I should retire. See you again tomorrow!
...Sean will have a jungle soon.
Wow good poem from John. He pretty much covered it all.
I'd love to tour Sean's neat garden!! We used to go on garden tours, usually in June. You bought tickets and that gave you the right to wander through a number of gardens. Some were working farms. I wish we'd find that kind of things again.
Does KitKat know about your new little friend?? I won't tell if you don't.
Hello,
What a lovely garden! The kitty is cute. Take care, enjoy your day!
Sean has a very nice looking yard. You can tell by looking at it that he does a lot of work on it.
Spicy chicken sandwich and tater tots sounds delicious
I do admire gardeners like Sean who tend their gardens well. I do see that black and white cat. We have occasional visitors here, too. It's fun to see them. Hope your Friday is excellent!
Beautiful gardens. Spicy chicken sounded good. Janice
