This morning when I walked it was 44 degrees and sunny
after the clouds moved on.
Very quiet around town early this morning.
Walked around both of the cemeteries, then around the ball park loop.
Continued over to my old house, through town and passed the library.
Lastly walked down the main road towards home and back.
Another picture of the Canada geese family of 7.
Taking a lot of pictures of the geese but I love seeing them.
Passing by them again I saw that both families are together.
Tom this picture is for you.
The shades are pulled down on the long barn here.
They get pulled down for bad weather.
🌤 🙂 ☀️
Washed the sheets and got them out on the line to dry.
A perfect day for it, sunny with a slight breeze.
I made Macaroni Salad and and Baked Beans then went outside.
Ken cut down three trees.
One was dead and other two were too close together and blocking
the sun from another tree.
I added the trees to the brush fence out back.
David came over this afternoon and we grilled hot dogs
and had the salad and baked beans.
No Liz today and we missed her.
She is in Florida visiting her daughter for a couple of weeks.
Sure was a beautiful day, sunny and 65 degrees in the afternoon.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit.
Hope your day was sunny and bright.

Today was gorgeous here as well, dear friend. Sunny and comfortable! The Canada goose family are wonderful. The one in front, not sure if it is the goose or the gander, looks as if he/she is about to lunge at something or someone. I was once attacked by one of these geese, so I can now read their body language. LOL! Your photos are beautiful! Happy Memorial Day, and thank you so much for your posts, it is always such a joy to come here. :)
...this year, geese multiplying like crazy!
That sky photo is breathtaking! A definite reward for walking early.
No cookout for me today. I did some grocery shopping and then rested.
Your temps are very nice right now. Mine are close to it but we're getting a lot of rain.
Have a great evening.
I like your flag picture. I enjoy seeing more flags flying on this day.
We also had a beautiful day, 70 degrees and sunshine. Bob grilled us some burgers tonight.
Keep showing us the geese! They are cute and they grow so fast.
Those little goslings aren't so little anymore. I love your geese pictures!
What a lovely area with the benches and American flags in the first picture. I see the cemetery across the road...is the bench area part of that, or is it like a memorial park?
We had a gorgeous day here too - but we got clear up to 87! I love seeing the family of geese. They are so sweet! So glad you could get together with David for a Memorial Day cookout. It sounds very good! Another good day for you. See you again tomorrow.
That sky in your second photograph is beautiful.
All the best Jan
That geese family photo is adorable
Your sky photo is beautiful. Sounds like you had the perfect Memorial Day lunch.
Sounds like the perfect day. It was nice and sunny here today
I enjoy your pics if the geese, I would love to be able to sit and watch them for a while. We weren't sunny and bright today, we had rain and cloudy skies all day, it's good though because we need the rain!
Are these the same geese; or another family of 7? All geese look the same to me.
God bless.
Hello,
I enjoyed all your photos, sounds like you all had a nice Memorial Day. Take care, hope you have a great day!
Sounds like a great day. Your barbecue menu sounded just right. Nothing is wasted on your acreage! Have a good week!
What a beautiful day! And I love the precious little family you photographed!
Maybe the geese will want you to be their personal photographer. Great photos of the families.
Aww, the geese families are so sweet. Sounds like you had a nice Memorial Day. Here it was cold and rainy all day.
