No frost this morning!
It was a nice warm 55 degrees with sun and clouds.
A beautiful morning.
First walked around both of the cemeteries and then went
down to the Drane house because I saw what looked like some building supplies
and wanted to see what it was.
It is a pile of very thick wood beams maybe 6 x 6.
Looks look some work is going to get started.
This is the pasture just to the left of the picture
and this is the farm pond behind the house.
When I got back down the parking lot after going around the cemeteries
I started seeing pink arrows drawn on the ground so I followed them.
It was like someone was going for a walk and marked their way.
They took me around town past the post office and around the
ball park loop.
The state police from different states were in town yesterday with
their dogs doing training.
I'm sure the arrows had something to do with that.
No one else about town walking that I saw.
My walk was delightful! 🚶♀️🙂

Even though I wanted to be outside this morning I had to get some
inside work done.
I worked till lunch time and after lunch went outside.
Instead of doing more weeding of the stones I just put down weed killer.
Much easier!!!!
Then I collected some rocks and put them on the dry run.
I should be able to finish that project tomorrow.
Then there is the one out back by the arched bridge to finish.
After being outside for a couple of hours I was ready for some porch sitting time.
Supper tonight was chicken burritos.
Hope you had a great Tuesday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Sounds like a busy, beautiful day. I had chicken 🐔 soup for dinner. It is a mild yet stormy day today here in Montreal.
...chicken burritos sound great, we had homemake chili on rice.
You had a lovely walk today! What fun to follow those arrows.
Good job on the progress on the dry run.
I should think it was fun to follow the arrows.
I enjoyed moussaka (with a green side salad) for dinner, love the layers of aubergine/eggplant.
All the best Jan
I spent a lot of time in the garden today wedding and transplanting.
Following those pink arrows would be so much fun! We watch a series called Dog Detectives about how awesome these sniffer police dogs are. They can track criminals, sniff out drugs, tobacco, and weapons and explosives. Your reflection photo of the pond is gorgeous!!!
I think I would have followed those arrows too.
Your photos are so clear, sharp. I always notice that about them.
Whenever there are 5K runs in our small down they too put arrows down for the runners to know their way. Am sure yours had something to do with the police training. Janice
Thank you for your Bible quotations.
God bless.
Nice walk, I love the photos. I have seen arrows for the bike riders to follow in an event. Take care, have a great day!
How fun to follow the pink arrows. It would have been fun to see the training with the dogs.
The picture of that pond is so pretty
Karen, your pictures from around the Drane House are absolutely stunning! Thank you for sharing.
Sounds like a good day from start to finish. Great photos. Here we are on the last day of April!
So cute you had a route to follow on your walk!
I like the pond's beautiful reflections.
That Drone House is really striking! You caught the early morning light just perfectly!
