42 degrees this morning while walking in town.
This first day of March was a windy one.
Cloudy starting out and then it was sunny.
I walked around the cemeteries and then didn't pay much
attention to where I was walking.
It was a kind of frustrating walk.
David told me about a walking App for my phone and sent
me a link and I used it this morning.
It tracks your walk and there are rewards along the way that
you have to pick up in certain spots where you're walking.
I spent way too much time looking at my phone just trying to
find where the rewards were that it was just too distracting.
I enjoy my walk and don't need any incentive to keep going.
It kept telling me just a few more steps but I never did find a reward.
When I got home I deleted the App.
I walked all over town but don't even know all where I walked.
Didn't see anyone else out.

☁️ 🌤 🙂
The nice sunny day turned into a cold snowy one as I
drove to the library this morning to meet the ladies for Needlework.
It wasn't regular snow but little frozen snowballs.
It stopped an hour later and the sun came out.
Clouded up, snowed again and by late afternoon everything was
white again covered in snow.
There were five of us at the library.
3 knitting and one embroidering and I was making weave-its.
Nice to see them after missing a couple of weeks because of the weather.
Started reading the book for the book club for this month.
The Glass Maker
Tracy Chevalier
Started another puzzle this afternoon.
This one smaller than our usual 1,000 piece ones with just 500 pieces.
Shrimp and baked potatoes for supper tonight.
Hope you had a great Saturday and thanks for stopping by.

March here came in like a lion.🦁
Hope it goes out like a lamb!🐑

I've seen good reviews for The Glass Maker by Tracy Chevalier, it will be interesting to know what you think of it.
Your first three photographs are beautiful.
Wishing you a good new month of March.
All the best Jan
The only reward you need when you go walking is the good feeling when you're done.
Sounds like you very mixed up weather today.
...keep looking up at the beautiful sky.
Hi Karen. I have found that all the different walking apps and even my new fitness tracker give me differing number of steps that I have walked so now I just look at the time and try to walk so much every day. I have heard that a person needs to walk about 150 minutes a week, and I am sure you do much more than that. I even went out and walked this afternoon with my broken foot in the walking book. I love my daily walks too much to miss them! Glad you had another good day. We had a lovely sunny day here. Spring is on the way!
I guess it’s a liability issue that ice skating is not allowed on that pond.
The sky photos are spectacular
Those are incredible sky photos! Bummer about that app, but you've done good getting your steps in without it!
Love your walks and your blog! Thank you.
It snowed snowballs, how wild!! I would not have liked this app either. I think it aims to make walking fun, but you already make walking a great deal of fun just with what you see and post!
You're having a lot of snow this year.
God bless.
Hello,
Love your sky images, beautiful. I usually carry my phone on which tracks my steps and miles each day. Your dinner sounds yummy. It is very cold here this morning, only 18° . Take care, have a great week.
That does sound kind of frustrating with the app. When I'm walking outside I tend to let my mind wander and just take in the fresh air. I don't know that i would enjoy an app for that.
those sky pictures are really pretty.
Shrimp sounds delicious.
Beautiful sky photos. Love all those clouds. Sorry the app was not enjoyable. I think you're right, the walk itself is what moves you.
You have a personal walking app engrained in you. :) A walking inspiration. Those skies are amazing. My sister and I will be working on a puzzle she just put out on her table. Take care.
The walking app sounds aggravating.
