Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Friday

A windy walk this morning, 28 degrees with a mix of sun and clouds.
Sunrise was 7:18

First walked around the lower cemetery a couple of times.

Then around the one on the hill.

From there I walked to the ball park and walked that loop a couple of times.
Then up and down some of the side streets around town.

I saw someone else out walking but too far away for me to tell who it was.

Farmer Marvin driving by in his truck stopped to say hi.

Found out why the white house is for sale.
They've been renting the house while renovating a house in Grantsville.

 ðŸ™‚    🌤

Did some laundry and got the rest of my house work done for the week.

That Left the afternoon for fun stuff.

I've been keeping up with the knitting of the temperature blanket and
each day knit the two rows.

Tomorrow we are expecting another day freezing rain.
Pretty sure I'll be able to get a walk in before it starts.

Happy Friday and thanks for stopping by.

You've got me confused ... it's still Friday but your post is called Saturday!

My part of the UK has been wet and windy today, so different from yesterday.

I enjoyed your photographs and it sounds like you are doing well with your knitting.

All the best Jan

It looks like the weather is cold in the first picture. I'm glad you went out and enjoyed your walk in the cold. I love cold weather and am no fan of hot summer days.

...take care, freezing rain is not our friend!

I love pictures of clouds, and your three today are absolutely beautiful! I'm glad to hear that your stress test will be in Oakland, and you won't have to fight the traffic in Morgantown...especially at that time of the morning.

It was cold here today but it's supposed to snow tomorrow so I made myself leave the house to go get dog food.
Hopefully I can get some work done around here tomorrow.

Your photos today are really pretty! I especially like that first one.
It looks like your snow is melted. I hope the freezing rain doesn't amount to much.
Did you get your test results back yet? I'm praying you are starting to feel better.

Hi Karen. I'm glad you were able to get out for a walk today. It was another bitter cold, windy and rainy day here, so we walked at the rec. center after school. I hope you have a good weekend. See you again soon!

If you are like me you're curious about what's going on. Nice to find out the reason the white house is up for sale again. What I'd like to know is why did the police come to the house next door to us no less than THREE times in the past few days.

".. it's still Friday but your post is called Saturday!"

That's because all days blend together, Jan. Especially in winter when days are shorter.

God bless.

Freezing rain is definitely something to avoid being in. Hope you got your walk in before it started. Your Friday walk sounded nice.

I can handle cold but wind is just cold this time of year. Plus it wipes me out, pushing me. The wind will stop me more than cold weather. Those sky photos are pretty. We’ve had some pretty skies this week, too due to storms.
Sooooo, no results on the blood work? Probably Monday!

I just finished getting caught up reading your blog. Like you, I have not really been sick, but have just felt tired and sleepy. I love the looks of your new sewing machine and look forward to seeing your first stitches. The word "ice" is in our forecast. I would rather have snow. You have posted so many wonderful pictures! Wow!
