Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Rainy Walk

A rainy walk in town for me this morning and 41 degrees.
After all the freezing cold weather and snow a little
rain sure wasn't going to keep me from walking. 🙂

The wind kicked up a bit toward the end of my walk
blowing the rain clouds away for a while.

Sunrise was 6:52 and my morning walk steps were 11,052

Walked up and down the main road and some side streets.
Then over to the ball park and walked around there.
Some more side streets and lastly around the cemetery on the hill.

It was actually nice walking in the rain.
It was a light rain and not cold.

🌧    ☔️    🌧

The usual morning routine and then we left for church
for a day of Fingerprints;.
A good turn out and we got quite a few Roman's books finished.
We had hotdogs and chips at church for supper.
Home now for a relaxing evening.

Hope you had a great Thursday
and thanks for stopping by.

Deb- No, we never got the flooring installed.  We've done it before but just couldn't get these boards to snap together properly.  David and Liz come home today and Ken and David will give it a try.

That's a pretty view of town.
We had similar weather here today. We said the rain is better than snow! But snow is predicted this weekend. I guess that's not surprising as it will just be March.
Nice to have supper at church after a day of work!

I thought you it might have been a Fingerprints day today. Glad you were able to get out this morning for a walk.

Glad there was a good turnout at church. And what a blessing to have supper there and not have to come home and cook.

Have a good evening.

I’m glad you were able to walk and you didn’t let a little rain stop you! That is a pretty photo at the top. A sleepy little town.
Nice here today - 80 degrees but rain is forecasted for the weekend.

There's no chance of a little rain stopping you . . . bravo, you are so self disciplined. I could use some of your fortitude.

Hi Karen. I really like that first picture of walking in the rain. I miss walking so much now that my foot is in a boot and I have been told to stay off of it as much as possible. Once it is healed up, I will be so glad to go for a walk! I am wondering how big your congregation is. Sounds like you have a lot of people participate in your service projects like the finger print books. Have a good evening. See you again tomorrow!

Sounds like a lovely day in spite of a little rain.

I don't mind walking in a light rain as long as there is not wind. You would have made a wonderful pioneer woman!
