Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Sewing Machine

It was windy this morning but we never got any snow.
It was 28 degrees this morning, windy, with a mix of clouds and sun.

Morning Walking Steps 10,451

I didn't have my grips on my shoes today so stayed on the road.
Went down the main road quite a ways

and then back up the road.

Before getting back to town I turned up Barn Sale Rd.

I walked all the way up the road.

Haven't been up this way for a while and saw that they are building
a new house up this way.

Then walked back down the hill and to town.

Didn't expect to see anyone up this way and I didn't.
Just a snowplow clearing the edge of the road.

We made a trip out to Walmart for food shopping.
Went right after breakfast and there was hardly anyone there.

While there I got the Brother sewing machine that I picked out last time.
Haven't taken it out of the box yet but will take pictures of it
when I do.

Knitted some more on the Temperature Blanket this afternoon.
I'm trying to catch up to the current date.

That's all for this Tuesday.
Hope yours was a good one.
Thanks for stopping by.

I bet that "Dad Joke" Puzzle was a fun one. You will enjoy that sewing machine. Your walk this morning looks like a cold and icy one! See you again tomorrow!

The streets look very dry and safe now. What a cute puzzle, but it looks hard. The machine is so pretty! I had a singer decades ago, but now I think Brother has a better reputation.

My mom gave me one of her old sewing machines and wants me to learn to sew so bad! I am not to interested but I have always wanted one of those brothers like yours so I can do small stuff.

I purchased a new sewing machine last year, and still have not used it. Did take it out of the box though. Another cute joke. Janice

I think you'll like using your new machine. I googled it and it seems like a great first sewing machine.
