Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Ken on the tractor

Nine snowing days in a row now.
We did see some sun this afternoon.
Another inside walk for me today.

Didn't do much of anything today.
We were going to go the library but decided to stay home.

Just did the basic every day house work.

I did my usual fun stuff around the house.
Puzzled
Read
Knitted
Made weave- squares.

Ken went out on the tractor to clear some more snow off the driveway.
He took a go-pro video.

We made pizza a day early for supper.

Sorry for the short post, not much happening.

Hope your Thursday was a good one.
Thanks for stopping by.

RK - Ken dusts the train layout with a very fine makeup brush.
Ruta - No, haven't seen any deer all week.  They must be hunkered down somewhere out of the weather.

Neat video! Tell Ken thanks! Wasn't it wonderful to see the sunshine this afternoon?! Carroll measured again today in an area where the wind doesn't hit, and we currently have 13 inches. More coming tomorrow through Saturday morning. Are you excited?

I enjoyed the video. The tractor is a great help!
We actually had sunshine today but it was very cold. However, tomorrow we have another winter storm watch.

I know you prefer to walk outside, but I enjoy seeing the train layout from time to time. Always amazing to me.
It looks like Ken has the right equipment for the snow removal job.

I was marveling at the blue color of these cranes, and thinking why had I never seen any like this. Then I realized it was not real!!

That was a cool video - he got awfully close to the go- pro which made it exciting!

Hi Karen. Very interesting video of Ken clearing the driveway. Nine days of snow - wow that's a lot. We may get a little more snow tomorrow night and Sunday. We have some in the mountains, but not much down here in the valley. Today, however, it was bitter cold - but then it is winter. I hope you have a good Friday. See you again soon!

Watching the little video I can see all your snow and understand why you're walking indoors these days.

Thanks for the video. That sure is a handy piece of machinery to get the driveway cleared.

We have had so many cold days in a row with below freezing temperatures, I am ready for the big melt and warm days.
Ken made a great video while on the tractor. We are thankful for our neighbor that cleared our driveway. Take care, have a great day!

That tractor makes the job easier. Yesterday afternoon the ice came down the river and is jamming up causing the ferries to stop. Last year we had no ice. It was 9 degrees when we left the house yesterday morning. Hoping Spring comes soon. Janice
