Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Dirty Snow

Not walking yesterday and keeping my steps low did the trick.
This morning my achilles heel is feeling almost as good as new and
walking today actually made it better.

It was 28 degrees and I saw the sun again.
So NICE!!!
Sunrise was 7:26
Morning Walk Steps 10,606

Walking pretty good in town now but still can't walk around the ball park

or on the sides walks.
The once pretty is snow so dirty!!

So I walked along the places that are cleared.
Some side streets and up and down the main road back towards home.

Had a couple of DVD's to drop off at the library and made it there
in a round about way because of ice.

This big old dirty pile of snow is going to take a while to melt.

Snow plow knocked down Farmer Marvin's mail box.

No one else out walking yet at least not while I'm out.

🙂    ⛄️    ❤️    ☀️

This morning we went out to get a few errands done.
Went to Lowe's and bought a cabinet to put in the laundry room by
the washing machine.
Ken didn't feel like putting it up today and is going to do that tomorrow.

I also got a couple of flower pots to transplant the African Violets that
Connie (librarian) gave me.
They are doing great and are getting big and have LOTS of blooms on them.

Also stopped at Walgreens.

Worked on the puzzle a bit this afternoon.
Now that I've caught up with the Temperature Blanket I made
some weave-it squares.
The month comes around pretty fast when I need one done!

We had our homemade pizza tonight for supper.
This time we put roasted onions and red peppers on it.

Today is our wedding anniversary.
❤️53 years❤️

Hope your Thursday was a happy one.
Thanks for stopping by.

...it doesn't take long for fresh, clean snow to become dirty!

What? No one else out walking yet at least not while I'm out....Wonder why? LOL You are one dedicated walker, proud of you. We went from Norfolk to GITMO, that was a great duty station because ti was considered Sea duty and the family could be there after a couple months wait, but worth it.

I'm happy to hear your foot is improved!
That snow is so pretty when it comes down, but it seems to last far too long in the dirty stage.
I'm sure the cabinet will be nice in the laundry room.
Another funny Dad joke!

Snow that is so pretty and pristine soon turns into grimy grey.
I hope we'll get at least one snowfall this season.
Happy anniversary to you and Ken 💗💗💗💗

Happy Anniversary! Our snow is finally starting to melt, it does not look so pretty when it is dirty. Your pizza sounds yummy! Have a great day and a happy weekend.

Happy Anniversary. 53 years is very impressive.
I hate when all you see is the dirty snow. It makes me long for spring when everything starts turning green.

Happy Anniversary! You both seem so right for each other and compliment each other. Enjoy your day! I like my new washer too and I'm having to try some different settings to get what I need. Hugs!
