Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Cemetery and cows

It wasn't snowing today but it was cloudy and cold.
No place to walk in town so again I was inside.
I may not have been able to walk around the cemeteries in town
but I did walk past one

and also stopped to see the cows.

We went to the library to pick up a book for me and Ken had
requested a DVD that had come in.
While in town looked around to see what the streets and sidewalks
were like and not great for walking.
Supposed to snow again tonight.

I'm reading a good book,
Blue Heaven by C J Box.
It's about a couple of kids in the woods who get pursued by 4 men
they have just seen murder a man.

Finished the puzzle this afternoon.
It was not as easy as I thought it would be.

Ken made us supper today.
He made sausage that he cut up and layered in a dish
with pasta, sauce and cheese.
It was really good.

Tonight I'll be making weave-it squares.
Have less than a week now to finish the blanket.

Happy Friday and thanks for stopping by.

That's quite the puzzle! It would have made me hungry. :)

You are so fortunate to be able to walk indoors.
That puzzle doesn't look an easy one!

All the best Jan

I love seeing Ken's layout. It's so creative!
The puzzle looks like a fun one, but hard.

..I've never seen a train layout with a cemetery. This is a wonderful addition.
