Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Achilles Heel

This picture is from Mondays walk.

For some reason yesterday my achilles heel started hurting.
It did feel a lot better this morning but decided to ease up on my steps today.

There used to be an exercise program on PBS called Body Electric
that I did regularly for years.
I recorded a few of the programs so when it wasn't on PBS
in my area anymore I could still do it.
One day the DVD I used got stuck in the DVD player and I destroyed
the disc trying to get it out of the machine.
It has been a while since I've done the program.
Today I found the program streaming with ALL the old shows on it.
I am so happy to have found it again and today exercised to one of the shows.

Got caught up to date with the Temperature Blanket.🧶
On my other blog I will post my progress at the end of each month.

That's it for today.
Had a hard time keeping my steps down today.🙂

Supper this evening was
Vegetable Bean Soup.

Hope your Wednesday was a happy one.
Thanks for stopping by.
🙂HappyK❤️

Ann - I don't have any first sewing project in mind to make. I found a great website by Rebecca Angela that teaches the very basic things about sewing.  It is like taking a sewing class and since I am a beginner it is perfect for me.

Hi Karen. I remember that show - Body Electric. It's been a while since it was one TV. I think I sometimes exercised to it years ago. I'm glad that you found it and can exercise with it again. Sorry to hear about your heel. Hope it gets better soon. See you again tomorrow.

Karen, thank you for mentioning the Body Electric program. We get PBS, so I will check to see if we can get it. I'd love to do a regular exercise program.

I'm sorry to hear about your Achilles Heel acting up. Glad you were able to slow down your steps a bit today.

I'm currently working on crocheting a baby blanket, so I will spend some time tonight working on it.

Your Vegetable Bean Soup sounds delicious!

Tons of exercise videos on YouTube, Karen. May take a moment to find the one that suits your needs. Stay warm♥

I hope your foot heals quickly!
I'm enjoying your jokes from the puzzle and sharing them with my husband. He is always telling me crazy jokes like that. :)
The soup sounds very good!

It is great that you found the show on streaming! Unusual to see hay in the snow!

How awesome that you found that old show available to stream. I've been trying to fit more exercise into my day since after sitting around for a couple days I started feeling very achy and stiff.
That website sounds perfect for starting out with the sewing.
