Walking is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside. Elizabeth von Arnim

Tuesday

A warm morning walk at 47 degrees.
Cloudy and a little breezy.
Sunrise 7:32
Morning Walk Steps 10,689

Didn't see any other people out and about again.
Very quiet around town, nothing going on.

Walked all around town in no particular order and also around both of the cemeteries and the ball park too.

The wreaths have been put by all the veterans graves on both of the cemeteries.
This is just the cemetery at the top of the hill.

 ☁️    🎄    🙂

The sun came out mid morning and it was warm so got to hang the clothes to dry
outside on the line.
It was pretty windy though and had to keep untangling them from around the line.

I made some more of the Forgotten Cookies (delightful) today and will bring them to Blankets for Babies when I go on Thursday.
This time I added green food coloring and a touch of peppermint extract to make them a little more festive.

After lunch we went to the Shop and Save to get a few things.

Read and knitted some this afternoon.
Supper tonight was taco salad.

We don't have a big tree just a little one in the corner of the living room.
The lights are red, white, and blue but the camera picks up purple.

Hope you've all had a happy Tuesday.
Thanks for stopping by.

Debby - No, don't have a milk caddy but do have a milk box out front on my porch.
Had one like it by our back door when I was a kid.

Ellen - The library in town is small and a lot things we do have to request. They always find what we want somewhere though.  Books and DVD's come from all over the state!!  I've even had a couple of books come from out of state!!

That pampas grass looks pink. Very pretty. At least, I think it is pampas grass. Your tree looks pretty in purple. I wonder why it didn't pick up the red, white, and blue. Has something to do with the shutter speed? Anyway I like your tree.

Your tree is beautiful! I think it is not about size, but about how it looks and the memories it holds. Wow, this fall grass looks pink!

Your tree looks really nice with the nativity next to it.
